    Troubleshooting: -when the farm is running the water is constantly flooding the platform -> by default when the farm is off the water must be dispensed -the farm isn't running when I flick the lever -> the output chest is full, add additionnal storage below -the bonemeal dispenser doesn't fire despite the water being correctly timed -> the observer next to the sticky piston on top of the farm is in the wrong state, it should be away from the piston -farm must be built in one chunk to be unloadproof ofc

  • Finally done building a 10 layers version in survival to feed our tree farm. A trick for those who will (and should !) attempt the same thing: - while building, place the water but not the buckets (thank you @dark for the advice) - once done, to place the buckets, scaffold one block away from the shroomlamps on the sides, where the dispensers are. Break the shroomlight + the deepslate after it, and you can access the dispensers to add the buckets

    This seems perfect. I've been trying to design an efficient moss farm that doesn't use sticky pistons, because slime is not something I want to hunt for in the early game. A module of this doubles the rates of my latest design in a smaller space. The fact that it can be extended later is fantastic. I'll take the WD and cherish it. Subscribed, BTW. Your other stuff is cool too.

    I did the 2 layer design and added on a shulker loader for moss. Farm works really good

    Dark, great bonemeal farm. You are a master :) I have one question though, have you ever tested the unload protection circuit on large server? It doesn't seem to work properly; I always get cobblestone if the area gets unloaded while its running. I tested to make sure the mechanism works when I wear the frost walker, but the piston doesn't seem to fire when I log out and back in
  • Great farm, very clever ways to transmit redstone signals. Good job. I was wondering if anyone had tricks when it comes to building it in survival, in particular regarding the water dispensers, and to a lesser extent the pistons. Depending on the layers building order, I often end up with the water half dispensed, and I need to crawl back in to get it back in order.

    Pasted 1 module Litematica in creative world...great. Built in survival....broke. Here's how to fix. - Build the machine layer by layer via Litematica with everything (including lava) EXCEPT the water in front of the 4 dispensers. All the waterlogged stairs should be placed as you go. - BREAK the observer attached to the sticky piston, it's on the outer layer facing upwards (not the one by the armor stand). Replace it facing UP 1 block away from the retracted sticky piston. This is the correct OFF state. This observer times the bonemeal dispenser. - Put a stack of bonemeal in the hopper on the front right, it'll feed correctly to the dispenser after a few cycles. - Break glass on top to get into the water layer. Manually place water on the block in front of each 4 dispensers and place the empty bucket in the dispenser. This is the default off state. Put scaffold down to get out of the hole you created and break it and replace glass block. Collect it in the hopper above the composter. FINAL NOTE - ensure there is NO cobblestone in the farm at any time...only stone.

    I built the 6 level version, but I get problems with the timings. I may be wrong but It seems to me that the dispenser shoots bonemeal while the floor is still flooded, so there's no moss production. The timings are those of the world download, I took a schematic. Any ideas?

    Unfortunately it's not unload-proof if you run around. I downloaded the world, executed /setworldspawn 1000 64 1000 to make sure the farm isn't spawnchunk-loaded, and then flew away and back a couple times. The result is cobblestone inside the farm :(
