The Origin Of EVERY Hypercharge In Brawl Stars!

  • Bibi's hypercharge is named "Out of Bounds" because of her baseball bat. It's also why she has "Home Run" and "Batting Stance". She has multiple links to baseball and softball, as well as her lore being proven as she "loves baseball and bubblegum." Hope this helps. Figured it'd be a bit obvious based on her abilities, named "Three Strikes" as in 3 strikes and you're out, and "Spitball" which again, is a ball. Also her name, Bibi, comes from B & B, meaning Baseball & Bubblegum, or just Baseball. 2 B's. Hopefully this helps.

Charlie hypercharge is a reference to the middle age, where people did not have so much hygiene. In fact, that is why this brawler has spiders in her hair. This lack of hygiene caused the black death, so that could be the reason for "pestilence" being its name

As a Belle player, Belle shoots electric bolts so her hyper charge is call magnetic since it relates to her main attack

I think Belle's hypercharge being named magnetic kinda refers to electromagnetism in a way, snice her whole kit is based arround magnetism apart from her nest egg gadget. In a sense it's kinda like Pearl's hypercharge in how it amplifies the main element of their kits. Now lets just hope Sam's hypercharge does something similar. As for Charlie's, I think it mostly has to do with her spiders and how they sorta can be considered deadly and spreading like a disease. Also I'd be pretty skeptical about the higene of some who keeps spiders in her hair and makes sticky coccons out of it.

Nice Vid your one of my favourite youtubers love u
  • I don't really think ya saw the references lol, like some references are so plain sight... so here's mah take based on what I think -shelly: is most likely, clash royale used this reference and it's prob not, it's not the complete phrase... but boomstick is a reference to that scene in army of darkness that goes "this... is my BOOMSTICK" -colt: dunno much, sheriff that's dual wielding -spike: ya got it right, maybe I also missed smth -bull: jaws of steel is a movie, prob a coincidence but supercell always leaves some, so maybe it's intentional -jacky: faults, boundaries and anything earthquake related is involved in a seismic event -pearl: the thing with choco chip cookies is that it can be super hot when heated super high, it's ability to trap heat pretty well is quite deadly in a critical point, especially with the molten chocolate -jessie: 2.0 is commonly used for robots or inventions upgraded, pretty obv and not that unique -rosa: grasping the root is a metaphor, it means to deeply understand a problem, discourse analysis style -maisie: ya got it right, also partly an eminem reference from a rap god lyric that goes "only realized it was ironic, I was signed to aftermath after the fact... how could I not blow? all I do is drop f bombs, feel my wrath of attack"... the last part is literally her basic attack 6x so it's her wrathful attack -lou: slushie storm is from this collectible I had back then called "grossery gang"... I still rememeber a small fry thing gifted by my cousin -colette: the most obvious reference imo, teen spirit or smells like teen spirit is that nirvana song... colgate is actually above teen age and is atleast 20 which is young adult, I found it funny because it also shows how many adults want to feel like a teen again, or she acts like one, both are confusing to me, I don't know the meaning of the song despite years of listening to it and her hc's other reference too -charlie: it has PESTilence, it's like spider that gives a deadly stuff, also somehow grew from a cocoon that disappeared or traps someone -dynamike: boomer is pretty obvious, a boomer that both explodes and is old -edgar: got it right, he has an outburst in his super -fang: other than what ya said, dragon kick is one of the most iconic move of liu kang from mortal kombat (other than bicycle kick, which is literally his signature kick) and his super is literally a dragon kick that bounces... liu and fang are also very similar with chinese origins, interest in dragon and karate, long and sexy haired (some versions of liu kang) and has a speed kink -leon: limbo means nonexistence, also could mean not heaven or hell, this means that he's visible and invisible at the same time -crow: utility knives have some properties -mico: sometimes, doing a sound check can make a loud screech and that's where the stun comes in place -cordelius: total darkness is pretty self explanatory, but the reason they get slow is because people often get weary when walking in the dark, common to see them hands in front to touch if anything is in front and walk slowly to not fall or know if there's a drop -buzz: other than what ya said, don't really know, but buzzwatch could also be a combination of buzz being quick and watch because he has a lotta buoy so he can quicklywatch a lot -el primo: other than what ya said, don't know any other reference other than a possible gravity falls reference -belle: I kinda forgor since it's been years since I last heard magnetic energy, but magnets can be used to generate electricity and we know that doorbell has a shock rifle, so a diff kind of energy is used ig -sprout: other than what ya said, some sprouts slowly grow thorns -bibi: just like in basketball, volleyball or basically 80% of sports, out of bounds means the ball fell out of court and bounced to an area where it's not supposed to be, the double bubblegum could and the fact it splits other ways could mean that the strike was too strong that the bubble split/turned to 2 and bounced too far off that it became out of bounds
  • It's called out of bounds due to baseball and if you it the ball too hard it goes out of bound, so while in her hyperchsrge each trike is really hard
  • Charlie's is called "Pestilence" since it makes 3 spiders after someone is cacooned. And spiders can be poisonous
  • In polish for some sort of reason Leon’s hypercharge is called „kameleon” which means in English chameleon
  • @HOOVY_tf2
Actually belle's hipercharge names magnetic because she uses electromagnetic rifle
  • Charlie hypercharge name is pestilince cause spiders have poison which can be called pestilince or the name is something else but it will be almost the same answer
  • @Mrblocks909
I feel like bibis could be bcuz the bubbles split making them go outwards as in out of bounds?
  • @ryanpowell9976
For bibis hypercharge, it’s because she has a baseball bat and Out of Bounds is a baseball thing
