Tom Tom weighs Dig Dug to order springs for the suspension. He test fits a new drive train and installs a Ruff Stuff battery cage for the new Full Throttle battery. In between he stops in at Resurgence Automotive, a restoration shops that specializes in early Broncos.

I’m so glad we still get to see Tom Tom after he left MORR. I was going to be so sad if this man disappeared.
  • The body, frame, cage, etc are SPRUNG weight, IE the weight suspended by the springs. Unsprung weight would be the axle housing, wheels, tires, brake rotors, everything that is not carried by the springs. Drivelines are half sprung, half unsprung because they connect between the two realms. The springs themselves are unsprung weight, as are the ends of the shocks that are attached to the axles. The pool noodles are a nice touch.

  • @Microphone73
Love Tom's enthusiasm. Congrats on the wedding. Cheers!
  • Tom, I’m very happy to see you with your own channel. I’m a retired Nuke power plant worker and that gives me great insight and humor in how you approach things and work through them. So between all you Utah You Tube dudes I follow I’m sticking with all of you and happy to add Tom Tom to the gang of favs….
  • Thanks for always bringing a smile to this old face. You are not only informative, you're also entertaining. I love your sense of humor.

Loved those Broncos! I have a ‘75, and it’s fun. That battery tray is seriously stout now. Can’t wait to see the mods and paint work.

I enjoy watching everything that goes on in the shop, but taking us along on your road trips really sets you apart. I realize that some may be plugs for other shops but you don't just take us there and back. It almost seems like you actually want us to tag along with you and your family and that's awesome. Dig Dug is coming out quite, nicely. When is your store going to be ready?
  • i watch many of the towing, recovery. and fabrication channels. Tom yours is strong. keep the content coming
  • @TechmoChamp
Resurgence looks awesome, if I ever hit the powerball I'm getting one of those broncos, those things look awesome.
  • HI Tom, I love your enthusiasm and work ethic, If I was in the neighborhood I'm sure we could be mates. Best from Thatcham, UK 🛠
