Definitely would like a follow up when you get the chains installed to weigh down the curtains. (Maybe your air quality result’s already include the chains, but it wasn’t clear.) 👍👍😎👍👍
  • I like the versatility of those curtains! Would also be great to isolate body filler dust from clean projects. I'm definitely going this route once my shop starts making more than barely making ends meet.
  • It might help to enclose the ceiling and add vent holes in the back to make a cross breeze.

you mentioned the absence of bugs or dirt. That may change as you get into the warmer months. Nicely done. You sure have skills!
  • Man, that paint booth works great. I find your channel and I love it. God bless you and your family.

I had a makeshift indoor spray booth one time. Spraying automotive clearcoat with a dedicated clear gun. One time we forgot to turn the fans on and it filled my 4000sqft with atomized clear. I was the one spraying and I came out and asked my helper what was happening and we realized our error. Turned on the fans and it cleared out relatively quickly. Long comment to say, I bet a roof on the boot would be a welcome improvement.

Mayby add another fan in the back with some ducting, you could run the ducting underneath your shelving system?
  • Seems to work good. The paint job turned out awesome that's the main thing.

If I were designing it I would create a way to make sure you keep the air evacuated from reentering the system, maybe a side draft fan or similar

Need filters in the back and draw air from the shop to get more of a crossdraft across the whole booth.
  • I love it! I just asked about the curtains on another video of yours so it’s cool to see the whole process of building it. I’ve thought about doing such a curtain for a wood shop’s to separate it from the automotive side of the shop. Also you have the flex tube, maybe add that to in inside so you sucking from the back of the area. One fan at the door and one in the back both pushing out the bottom on garage door??? Just a idea, it might help?
  • @not.sure.yet.
Thoughts on this suggestion. Do you feel it would work better if the fans were a bit higher. The paint booths I've worked in, the exhaust fans are usually 3 to 4 feet off the ground.

I love watching this guy while playing CMS21

Man I was just in Spokane! It would have been so cool to meet you !

You are gonna need a better fire extinguisher for your shop! That tiny unit will not do much. I suggest a 20lb abc unit for a shop that big and a 10lb co2 for smaller fires so it won’t ruin your work

What ceiling track system is that? Can you drop a link or manufacturer name?
