Bearded Dragon Acute Kidney Disease

Published 2016-04-09
Cattai is doing better thanks to some heavy duty intervention by a loving rescue (Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue) and a wise Vet clinic (Parish Creek) in Utah. We are glad to have her home. Now she can only have her greens and beardie bites. If she gets more protein it will destroy her kidneys entirely.

I just went to the vet today and my 15 year old bearded dragon has Kidney disease the vet says he could recover or not. He acted like this in the video but I took meal worms and calcium and water blended it up and he perked right up. But I will find out Wed if he has a chance I believe he does. Say a prayer for Dash

Thank you... I just had to put my baby to sleep because of this. Its nice to know if another Bearded Dragon suffers from the same thing that thats what my Noloben looked like before he passed away. I feel like I somehow contributed to how thin he was even though I tried feeding him home made baby food.

We don't think he's in pain the exotic vet says he doesn't seem to be in pain he actually started to turn his head at the vet made me cry a lil as if he was his old self his eyes were not foggy. Even though Dash is 15 I got him in 2006 as he was a year old from a breeder so if there is a chance and he has to be on meds the rest of his life so be it. Right now we have a Jesus wooden made sign on his tank right now and pray for him.

I was told mine has kidney disease, did your bearded dragon get off balance, head twitching, full on body control issues? Then be fine like the next day
