The subtlety of dog language never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for teaching us.

Most people don’t know how to train their dogs before they go to the park.

The dog giving Ronin a warning as he follows him 😭😭😭

I approve the behavior of Ronin. He is still young but those visits to the parc are quite formative. He shows restreint but then there is a limit when he's been pushed. This dog reminds me of a friend I know for a long time. Dogs understand much more than we think they do.

"He just wants to play" a woman with no clue doesn't keep her GSD on a leash. "People get so mad at me!" I suppose that reaction is because her dog wants to dominate my GSD/Malinois mix and everybody else in the universe. The dog scared the shit ou of my dog and I had to tell her GSD to back off.

Your commentary is so spot on! Do you ever feel frustrated with other dog owners? 99% of them can't understand 1% of what you do!
  • What a patient and well behaved Malinois. And big props to the owner of the aussie for following her dog, calling him and trying to get him to stop pestering Ronin before things could escalate further. Too many owners just let their dogs do whatever they want..

Most dog parks discourage folks from bringing intact dogs into the mix. That testosterone seems to set off the neutered ones.
  • I don’t ever go into an area where a dog has an unbreakable stare. Always bad news
  • Thanks for sharing that video - - it's really fun and I lean a lot by watching all the micro movements you capture and replay between the dogs. The interactions are so spontaneous and varied - - it's a bit exhausting for my mind - - the dogs do so much and communicate all the time - - it's really amazing.

This is a really amazing insight into dogs behaviours, really learning so much.
  • This is so fun and learningful to watch. Fluffy dogs are scary indeed ;-)

Ronin seems like such a good boy. Love these videos, learning a lot as an inexperienced dog owner.
  • Thanks, very informative. For the first time in my life I have two dogs. I always thought horses were quick… they’re glacial compared to dogs. Dogs give the signal and act so quickly.
