The video shows one of the best security system immobilizes in the market. The video explains how the system works and how easy it is to use. The IGLA system requires a pin code to disable that only you know. This video explains how simple this system is to use and I have paired it with Fords Perimeter Plus security system. Contact Randal at ModFX in Spring TX for any questions.

Thank you. I just located an installer in Santa Fe NM. I am going with both of your recommendations - IGLA and Perimeter Plus.

Randal at ModFX is great to work with. I have the Igla system on a 2022 Super Duty, but you can drive the truck almost half the time without the code. I agree with Rocky; use the code versus the fob so you know the system is working correctly.

Hi, my car was stolen about 3 weeks ago but recovered because it has GPS. I was wondering, (and I would create a difficult pin) if the code was let's say pressing the volume up plus button three times, and the thieves pressed it four times, would the first three presses disable igla because it would be considered a positive code input even though it was pressed four times? I was just wondering because what if they miraculously press the correct sequence but pressed an extra button or two after.

The code on the card and under the dash is for the door keypad, it won't do anything for cutting a key. If they can already see the code or get to it, they are already past the point of needing it as the doors are already open.

Thanks for the video. I just had the igla installed on my '23 SD (mostly due to your video). My dealer is also touting the Compustar T13 as an additional level of protection. Did you look into that at all? I've also purchased the Perimeter Plus from Ford, but haven't installed it yet. The Compustar seems to have similar features with the Perimeter Plus, but with its own FOB that replaces the Ford FOB, altogether. I do suspect that it's probably better overall. I don't necessarily think that much of the Ford Pass app. The Compustar is also a lot more expensive. I think that between the igla and perimeter plus, I feel pretty confident. It can certainly get broken into, but at least it isn't going anywhere (under its own power, anyway).

igla notifications, does it have cell sim card in it to reach your phone away from your home? Thanks for sharing all your information

I like it. Im sorry to be "that guy"... but even though I see it works with the Ford system, can it void any kind of Ford warranty on the alarm is something goes wrong?

Rocky was this on a diesel equipped F350? Or a gasser?

With the IGLA it seems like a lot of work to input a code to drive your own truck and the added chimes only add to Ford's already annoying chimes. Im curious if you run into a lot of auto theft scenarios? 20+ years of driving and living all over the country I've never run into an auto theft or vandalism....maybe I'm lucky? 🤔 I do like the other system with notifications and such. Thanks for the video!!!
