The first day of my two week long journey across the UK!

I started at St Bees and walked along the coast of the Irish sea before heading Eastbound towards my stop for the night.

I encountered plenty of funny animals, nice locals (the lovely RNLI volunteers offered me snacks for my journey after I stopped there to fill up my water bottles!) and other hikers I met along the way.

Please note that like everywhere, her prices may vary and so can’t promise it’ll be £30 like it was for me)
(EDIT: Her property is turned off at the moment so unsure when the link will work, when she re-opens)

Also, my brother and I hiked Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Mind, we got 55 miles in before we were forced to cut it short due to food poisoning from The Twice Brewed Inn on our third night! We're better now, and will continue the walk soon, so if you’d like to donate and support Mind I’ll add the link below! It’d mean so much, and for a good cause!

  • Yet another lovely video, as a 63 year old ex service man who is no longer able to hike due to various injuries, I love to watch your travels, they bring back so many happy memories of walks gone by .

It's little surprise these isles have created such classic stories and worlds that have stood the test of time. When youre walking through the Shire or Narnia, theres nothing more inspiring.
  • Hi. You put out such relaxing videos, it's a pleasure watching. The Airbnb was an excellent find. The C2C is on my list to do, so I will be watching the full series. Thankyou.

Lovely video. I really like your style, getting to see a bit more than the usual ‘just the highlights’ you often get elsewhere on YouTube. Nice one.

Hi Jennifer, I’ve watched loads of other videos of the C2C and this is the best so far, looked beautiful and some nice weather to start your journey well. Looking forward to the next instalment already. Cheers Glyn.
