  • Can’t forget about that $40 price tag in an age where other devs want $70 for incomplete garbage!

The dumpster toss and dive lmao

For me, it’s the combination of game and atmosphere. And that atmosphere isn’t just decorative nothing- it feels to me like there is something at work that is much deeper here.

Great game. I would like them to add: +Paints +Vehicles +Buffs +Bug fixes +Official randomizer I played this game a lot, about 300 hours, so time for me to move on. But when this game gets updates ill be back.

How can a game with 100k concurrent players on steam be on its way out? Just because you personally is not satisfied doesn't mean that all the other players share this opinion. The game is doing very well, despite the recent issues.
  • I thought JOEL was just a doggo tapping random buttons and hoping one makes a doggie treat pop out. But 90% of the time the buttons are -“random weapon nerf” “impossible major objective” etc etc

Sgt. Hellhugs McBugstomper, Status Report: I stopped paying my rent. I didn't stop being able to pay it, just did so many drops I forgot it existed. Same goes for a few other things, but for me there is only the next sample, the next objective, the next extraction, the next drop. Unfortunately, this simulation we Destroyer AI stay when we aren't controlling helldivers is a little too realistic with stuff like eviction being a part of it, but I am still confident Super Earth knows what it's doing. Homelessness isn't so bad, especially when the song exists. We all know the song. A cup of liber-tea, indeed. Hell of a way to start the day. I don't know how I lived before it, and don't even care to remember, not even out here in the nega-zone beyond the galactic rim, hell pods empty. Seriously though, when we go back to the simulation can't the engineers surround us with hot dancers or something? Nah, I shouldn't complain, just trust the algorithm. I can still plug in and drop from time to time when the stealth gods are on my side, but when I can't, online content -- I mean, bodycam footage of divers doing their thing from other destroyers -- keeps my spirits up. The Harbinger of Democracy may be gathering a little dust, but it's good to know that Democracy itself never will. Back in the homelessness simulation I've joined something called, "The United States Army." Not sure what it's about, but it has an oddly familiar feeling. The guys in the office I randomly walked into seemed happy to see me, anyway. I said I wanted to use their water fountain. They said they pay well and even can provide a roof over my head and some food, literally the only two things I need reset this mess/glitch to do more drops. Whatever they want in return in the meantime I am sure I can do with the song in the back of my brain, no problem. Anything to get back out there and do my part where it really counts. Until then, I'll see you all next time. McBugstomper out. hugs

i dont have friends to play with anyone wanna play w me?
  • Your vid is 2 months late, buddy. It was a great game, but developer and PlayStation decisions have slowly crippled the experience. Games now on its way out. It sucks but its true.

game is on its way out. the last 3 months of patches were recieved overwelmingly negative by the community because the devs nerf the fun out of pretty much every popular weapon as if this was a highly competetive pvp game instead of a pve horde shooter. the last 2 patches that introduced new weapons were inferior to the weapons already ingame and the armor sets were just lazy color swaps. its gotten so bad that the new assault rifle we got is outright inferior to the basic starter rifle.
  • Ngl it died pretty fast for an “amazing” game. Bad balance, no substantial content updates despite promises of bi weekly stratagem releases. 3 new enemies in 3 months, and the only thing they seem to care about adding is new passes for their star citizens to buy. This game had the potential to show that live service games work, and can maintain a consistent player base. But it didn’t. It failed. A simple look at steam charts show a steady decrease in players from day one. And with the ps plus situation, need I even mention more?

I don’t understand all this hype. It’s really not that fun….
