  • I've grown to like your content more now than ever since I've been studying and playing a ton for the last three years, Jonathan. I have over 12k hours playing now, so everything you talk about is more relatable. Thank you, sir.

Love these snippets of wisdom! I'd buy your course in a heartbeat, only no matter how much time I'd put in studying, I wouldn't retain it. I have CRS ~ Can't Remember Shit. 🤦‍♂😜🤷‍♂

Position and Intuition...do those two things well and you will become a winning player. The rest comes with LIVE game experience. Note that Experience and Intuition are symbiotic.

Question…So, I was playing 1/3 cash live game at casino. My stack $350, heads up “villian” was $450. I had AA flop was QQJ , Villian checks I raise $70, he calls. Turn was K. He bets $150, I snap call. River 5clubs , he calls All-In…I take a while to think he probably got trips, a Str8 or maybe KK….I call he has Quad Queens 😏. No flush with was possible btw. What did I do wrong?

I never understand the GTO charts... why is TT more likely a fold than 99? Why is 76s a fold and 65s a call?
  • That all depends on a novice player and some players play ace regardless
  • To me, of the many, many hours I've played, AK - is over rated. I play my opponent, IF necessary, I don't raise.

Not a fan of giving away free cards away on the turn. Simply bet to deny correct odds to call instead of offering infinite odds to your opponent to hit his draw. What if u get raised? Easy fold if U think he has it. What's your plan for the river when you check the turn here?!? I CR in this spot if I think I may Need to call river. Is he loose/aggro? Or passive? It makes a world of difference. If you check the turn you're folding to too many bluffs and also allowing shit hands to catch up FOR FREE. If Ur checking turn in these spots simply fold that AK pre and save yourself the headache. Move on to the next hand as you have no idea what you're doing with this hand or any other TPTK hand. Checking the turn here, this spot is an unmitigated disaster. IMHO.
