Melting Aluminium, Brass and Copper E-waste, Devil Forge

Published 2024-06-05
On another melt day, I was thinking empty the gas bottle it's nearly empty but ran out of processed aluminium. So I thought I would empty it and go and get a refill and melt some copper and brass. Upon editing, I realised an hour in this was going to be a 2-hour video so I split it into Part 1 and Part 2 which is to follow shortly. One crazy gas bottle refusing to die and some sand casting why don't you sit back and have a watch? let me know what you think in the comments.A warm welcome and a big thank you to all our new subscribers!

  • Wow what a video! So many ingots! The sound of those aluminum droplets clattering in your hand was lovely! Hope your eye is ok, we all have those moments, the little light tubes on screens are a nightmare for shattering too. The kinetic sand held up better than I thought actually, at least you could tell they were pyramids😂 I thought it would completely blow out! Great video buddy👍

Try putting bolt cutters in vise next time you use them to cut aluminum rail thingys. It should be quicker and you can you your body weight for the cutting thus saving your shoulders. 😊 💖 from Minnesota 🇺🇸

Sh/t man, I hope your eyeball is ok. Thats why I try not to preach safety in the comments while I watch peoples videos. I dont always remember my PPE either. Yesterday I was laying under my truck pulling the starter. I kept getting flakes of greasy rust falling down on my face and in my eyes. And do you think I stopped to get my safety glasses? Nope! I just kept rubbing the crap out until it went under my eyelid. Then I got up, stood in front of the side mirror and pulled it out. Got under my truck and continued on. We're men and we're stupid. Its just what we do to save a couple of minutes of time. 🤣
