Rammstein are literal rock gods at this point. They've earned the status.

9:07 There's a whole story why Flake is on a treadmill. He didn't want to join Rammstein at first because he thought he would be bored playing keyboard during concerts. They promised him he wouldn't get bored. In earlier days they put him on a Segway with keyboard attached to it, until he ran over Till. They then put him on a treadmill. That, combined with the burning/boiling/kicking/... he undergoes on stage

A lot of people believe that this is about a sadomasochistic relationship and he is the one inflicting the pain, but When he sings "Ich seh’ im Spiegel dein Gesicht" " I see your face in the mirror" hints that the person he’s singing about is actually himself. I believe that the song is instead about self-harm and the pain and pleasure associated with it.

Rammstein is the reason my son (in elementary) wanted to take Germany as his second foreign language (after English). And a week ago I took him to his first ever Rammstein concert. Yep, it was a BLAST.
  • Flake, he is no mere mortal, he always comes back :) He's been boiled, burnt, cooked and what not else on these shows but he's always reborn in flames, like a phoenix.

Being at a Rammstein show is an experience for itself. I was at their concert in MetLife Stadium, NJ, 2022 and even if you're not in the "Feuerzone" (the first few rows) you can still feel the bass in your chest and the heat on full blast. Everyone does love Rammstein, no matter the age, so everyone sings, claps together and the energy is amazing. Best live band! Also, Rammstein just get better with age. Very few bands have been able to do what they have with just being around for so long, who keep putting out amazing albums and songs.
  • Saw them in the UK last year, they were heard 11 miles away from the stadium and the heat from the towers was immense as well as the show❤ Rammstein

Rammstein have had THE best rock show for at least 10 years they are an unstoppable force and go where other bands fear to tread ... to get the full experience you MUST SEE THEM LIVE!
  • I saw Rammstein for the first time in the early 90s in a tent in Vienna in front of maybe 1000 visitors and I was already enthusiastic back then. I was maybe 10m away from the band and there wasn't a spectacular show back then, but Till breathed fire and the music was awesome anyway. I never would have thought that a German-speaking band would one day become absolute world stars. In 2022 I saw Rammstein again, this time with 35,000 fans and currently there is nothing that can compete with the show. Lindemann is also a trained pyrotechnician and that also explains the stage show.

i was at this show. and yes omg the crowd. they sold out MSG in MINUTES. this was my first time seeing them. i saw their more recent tour and it was even more amazing. They are the best live band ever. i don't think anyone can match what they do.
  • Another non English-speaking group I enjoy listening to, fighting.❤👏👏👏👏
  • Engel from this same concert is soo good! The pyro in that one is fantastic. You could also check out Sonne, from one of the more recent tours the pyro from that one is out of control. Mein Teil is great too!
  • The drums are often underestimated. No playing around, only pure power rythm. I only know about one short drum solo that is in " weisses fleisch" at msg. awesome.
  • Great! Next: "Rammlied" live from Madison Square Garden! For official videos you could go with "Mein Herz brennt" original and Piano Version

Love Rammstein and I've seen them several times at both stadium gigs and festivals. You really need to see their latest set. It has more flames and fireworks than ever throughout the whole set and even a bomb that set car alarms off for miles and had general public phoning the police thinking there had been a huge explosion somewhere. Took them 2 weeks to assemble then a further 2 to disassemble. It's epic. No-one can touch them for sound and sets. Edit to add ich tu dir weh is one of my favourites. Tills voice 🖤

I saw them on this tour. It was absolute insanity!
