Had Russell reacted like Steve Young did when George Seifert benched him when the 49'ers were getting blown out one time, the perception of him would be different. He would've come off as authentic and passionate. Instead, he came off the way he always does - like a politician. That only works when you win. Ask Derek Jeter.

People need to leave Russell Wilson alone at this point. He's fake. He comes off like a politician. He appears to be socially awkward. He is who he is.

I also think that people overrated this Denver Broncos team in general before Russell Wilson even got there

it’s not just the fakeness but just being totally tone deaf. You and your team are getting embarrassed every week and you walk up to the podium smiling and cheery like everything’s great and then show no improvement week to week. Every Broncos game is the same.

I don't think it's an act. I think that being a genuinely optimistic guy is mind blowing to the average person. We're all just too cynical. Nick definitely is. I don't think Russell Wilson is fake. I hope he finishes strong and has some monster games. He lost one of his coaches to cancer in Trevor Moawad Last year he seems to be regrouping a bit. I am rooting for him

I feel bad for Russel Wilson, man. He’s been a punching bag the whole season so far. Yeah, I want them to lose because my seahawks will get a higher draft pick. But I didn’t want him to look bad this much. He was our only winning superbowl qb.

I get it if people think Russell Wilson is a little corny, I don't see him as fake. He's just different from the average football personality and people don't like different. Also people like to pile on when a guy's down.

Figuring out the many flaws of Russell Wilson's QB talent is one thing, but trying to comprehend his psychological imperfections would take an eternity of therapy for this guy.

I think Russ is just different man. He doesn't ever come from a place of anger or negativity. His father taught him how train and study his game as a child. Telling him why can't you be great? It's his motto. I think it's just who he is. A man of faith and it got him very far. Now he's married to a superstar wife and has a brand. I'm fine with that. Here's the problem. Your average player doesn't think like this and they want you to be one of the guys. He's not one of the guys. That's why his teammates don't like him. But he believes and kuddos to him for his faith. At the end of the day he made it to the pros after being forced to leave NC State. Third round pick who won a Superbowl and more games in his first ten years than anyone. That was years without Marshawn and the LOB. So hate the guy. I'm a broncos fan and he drives me nuts. But I respect his beliefs. He needs to lose 20 pounds and get back some of that speed and agility cuz hero ball takes a lot of that smh.

Russell is not fake,he a good person and he's not confrontational, he's a really strong person,it's easy to just react with out thinking,but it takes alot of strength and fortitude to think before u react,and then to react without being overly emotional.
