  • Fun Fact: Those stunt doubles are Chris Evans actual stunt doubles.
  • "Hey big fan" "Why wouldn't you be?" Hot damn that line aged well considering it's Chris Evans.
  • I know he’s evil and all but ya gotta appreciate that he takes a moment to give his stunt team credit Wish we had awards for stunt people
  • @blundungus
“Sup. How’s life? He seems nice.” That is such an under-appreciated moment. I love it. Same with the coffee line.
  • @mikeseriously
The shot of Scott ripping through the Empire State Building backdrop to reveal the CN Tower, alluding to all the times Toronto is used as a stand-in for NYC in movies, is BRILLIANT. Hats off to whoever thought of that.
  • @bmombaerts
I love how he actually genuinely respects his stunt team, not just using them as mooks, but genuinely asking if they want a coffee or something
  • @gamepoy5056
“Scott! Evil Ex... fight...” Love this because in the comics he gave detailed descriptions of every Evil Ex lol
  • @adamandom
Fun fact: in the comics this film is based on, Lucas Lee doesn't actually care to fight Scott - in fact, he's willing to take a bribe from him to let him live. The two end up just talking about how Ramona cheated on him. He then goads him into doing the deadly trick, winning the battle. Funnily enough, this is arguably the second most accurate fight to the comics despite this massive changes as all the other fights are drastically changed.

The cast just did a reading of Scott Pilgrim over zoom to celebrate it's 10th anniversary. The original comic artist Bryan Lee O'mally also drew little scenes throughout it. It's totally worth checking out

Thank god universal is finally acknowledging this amazing, underrated movie
  • @jt.5431
“Hey, ask him how it feels to always get his sloppy seconds.” “How does it fe—“ enter board to the head
  • @iwakuralain6655
“Sometimes I let him do the wide shots, when I feel like gettin’ blazed back in my winnie.” this line instills fear within me and I still dont know what it means
  • Chris Evans seemed like the most respectful Ex in this film. He talked to Ramona quite politely, and even complimented Scott, even if it was sarcastically.

Just run this again in cinemas, it can practically be sold as a new film. Its THAT good.

The fact that Chris Evans was 28 years old when they filmed this in 2009 makes me a liiiittle bit depressed when i'm watching my 28 year old ass in the mirror. gg my captain!
  • I just noticed the stunt doubles 3:10 are also voiced by Chris Evans. A stunt team so dedicated they even copied Lucas' vocal chords.
