Cam was absolutely going to be the ABs starting halfback Jeff, what have you been smoking? “He was in the conversation” bro he WAS the conversation. What other halfback has literally anybody even been talking about this year?
  • @pixelpotato4874
Roigard was the No 1 Halfback in NZ before he got injured...clear as daylight.
  • @Endeavour02
What do people see in Christie? I just don’t get it he’s was lucky to be in the ABs ahead of Weber
  • @toddcham
I'm absolutely blown away about how they talked up Christie... He's had some stand out shockers. Passing, average at best. Shanks kicks. Knocks the ball on at the base of the ruck constantly. Defensively got his ankles broken and then out paced by a 7.

Hotham has always been this good. He showed this when he got his chances last year. He offers way more than both other crusader 9's put together. Hes still green but he has a huge future ahead. I still wish Fozzie played Roigard in the WC semi and Final....

TJP is better and more experienced than F. Christie. Not saying Christie is bad or anything, but for the same reasons that JK was glad about having BB, I feel the same about TJP, especially because they played together for so long.

Christie is not even close to being good enough to be the starting All Blacks 9
  • JK is right select ABs from any team in super rugby, this includes Japan and maybe in the future the USA. Why is he right. It was something that Foster, (he who I am not fan of) said. He said that the danger of selecting ABs from overseas is that they will be lost to regular competition and so water down the standard of regular play. In JKs model they are not lost just not being paid by NRU. In fact thought about that way we can have more ABs on better pay all the time. The would of course have to be strong caveats around player eligibility. This to me is a win win.

Hasnt JK always said "Beauden Barret is our best 15 and we need stop having players in duel positions"...?
  • On eligibility for All Blacks. Rule #1: Let the coach select! The coach should have first and final say. If you’re not the coach you have no say. Period. The coach lives with it. ‼️💯

There's very little I agree with the NZRU over but our eligibility rules are something I definitely agree with, if we started picking players in France we'll be picking all of them from there, Super Rugby and professional Rugby in NZ would die overnight, I'm not staying up until 3am to watch Ruben Love play a club game in Toulon, we'll be robbed of live sport, and the pathways to professional Rugby will shrivel up with only a few standout high school players getting contracts and within a decade we'd be lucky to beat Georgia.

TJ Perenara getting slept on. TJ single handedly came on that Crusaders game. Upped the pace and we come back to beat Crusaders. He done that with the ABs against Scotland. Seems these lot suck crusaders eggs too much lol
  • @catiepai29
Clear as day, Roigard was the No.1 half back ! Fingers crossed he is not out for too long, I wish him a speedy recovery. I'm all for bringing TJ back in, and I'd give christie another chance, but how is Cortez Ratima not talked about more ?!
  • @W_Misumzi
JK is getting carried away with his Christie hogwash
  • @pilifruean1324
Please Razor don't listen to these guys, the overseas players already had their chance and they lost the Cup,its time to develop the fresh guys for the next cup, everyone deserves a chance.
  • Cortez Ratima reminds me of Aaron Smith. He is outstanding halfback.Give this young guy some game time. He will not let you down.
  • @MarkWhippy
40:00 Serevi played many games for Fiji at 15's, he played 1 game in the 03 world cup when he got injured maybe thats what Mils meant. He was a better 15's player than people realize.
  • @takeiteasyyyyy
I am not sure why Christie is in the discussion for starting # 9. Roigard was the #1 half. Next in the packing order would be Fakatava then TJP.

Charles Munro brought rugby to NZ. One of the houses in Nelson College is named after him. There are plaques and many tributes to him at the school.
