Glad you got that resolved in the best possible way. Adiano seems very talented and seems chill, I do understand him copying others, because as you said, it was kind of like the "trend" so he just did what the trend was and didn't know it was wrong, but I'm glad you guys talked it out and are on better terms now.

As a Brazilian, I'm really afraid of people thinking that Brazilians don't make original content sooooo I wanted to clarify that NO we don't copy (most people at least) and that the Brazilian community is very similar to the American one :D
