In the engorged 1999 Dot-Com economy, this car was a high school graduation present. In 2016, the same car is still a graduation present.

I bought a 99 Corolla for $1,500.00. Someone hit it in an icy parking lot damaging every single panel and the insurance company totaled it giving me $4,000.00. Best investment I ever made.

When I was 18 I borrowed my friends Corolla to take my girlfriend to Steak N Shake on Christmas Eve to visit my friend, the cook. At the time I didnt have a license and my friends dad found out about it, got pissed and then made me bring the car back about 30 minutes into our "date" I then got a hand job on the way home. Thanks 1998 Toyota Corolla
  • Toyota Corolla... That one car where you're thinking "Meh, I'll drive it until I get enough for a better car." But then you see it 30 years later, still running, and you're thinking, "Oh Johnny is gonna love this."

Every girlfriend I had in high school had a Corolla like this... I remember seeing my first live titty in the front seat of one and then throwing up because of nervousness... That’s my Corolla story.
  • One if the best cars ever made. Having a Corolla is far less boring than being broke.

Own a 2001, it burns oil like crazy because bad rings in that year, buts never let me down. 300,000 miles and counting

5:44 "the 99 corolla looks the most corolla out of all of the corollas" truest shit I've heard all day

I was thinking about a Pontiac Sunfi-TOYOTA COROLLA
  • This is the most regular car ever assembled. Everything, from the manufacturer to the model name, interior and engine, all of it is so....regular.

"99 Corolla. This is the car for you if your local Chinese buffet place has pizza." I fucking can't dude
  • I've had mine for almost 7 years and I have 452,032 and it still runs without the check engine light on ❤️❤️❤️

I sold my 2003 Corolla passed down to me for my graduation back in 2010 to a dad buying a car for his son because the champ graduated from high school last year. The cycle continues.
  • Own a 99 Corolla with 290k. I've been waiting for years to buy a new commuter car but this thing keeps going & going with just minimal maintenance. Once the wheels fall off I'm buying a band new 4runner with all the money I've saved. I already own my own home. Thanks 1999 Corolla!

my identity never was tied to what car i drive (Tacoma). i know posers that need flashy cars with big payments. i'm not a car guy. just give me something that stays out of repair shops. that seems to be Toyota.
  • My friend paid 700 bucks for an 2001 corolla with 330k miles and it runs great lol

i mean, 120hp aint bad. Most cheap twenty year old cars here in germany have about 60-70hp.
