Just bought a g3c as my first handgun ever and love it
  • Huge fan of G2C!!! It can do it all just like the big boys ( Glock, Sig, etc) but cost less

Minor correction. The G2c has a black oxide slide finish and the G3c is tennifer finish. G3c controls and internals are Teflon coated for smoother function and protection.

I actually own the G2C and G3C. Bought the G2C in April as my EDC, the wife liked it so much she took it. Got the G3C in July. Both are FANTASTIC values, granted I am not an expert but they are accurate, reliable and easy to maintain. I do think the trigger in the G3C is better, but you can't go wrong with either pisrol
  • the G2C color highlighting was done after purchase.. stock its a pure black slide
  • I HAD a G2c, but it got stolen, (it was my very first gun that I owned), so I replaced it with the G3c. Love them both! I also got the bigger size G3 - same gun, just larger. They work fine, they're accurate, and they don't cost a lot. Definitely worth the money. Another selling point for me, is during cleaning, the EASE in which the firing pin can be removed. Takes about 10 seconds to take it out. I had a Beretta 9mm, and a Ruger 22, both excellent guns as well, but it took over 30 minutes and a punch set to get the firing pins out. Not to forget the springs that go flying across the room no matter how careful you are. G3 mags WILL work in the G3c if you're in a situation where you need them. They just stick out the bottom. And I have some extra G2c mags in the drawer that weren't with the gun when it was stolen, and those mags work with the G3c. (They're too short to go into the G3, in case anyone was wondering. Yes, I tried it. lol.) And in the G3c and the G3, I replaced the polymer guide rods and firing pin cover sleeves with stainless steel ones. Not because of any problems, just to have something stronger in there just in case later on. I also used the laser coupon that came with the G3 and G3c and got $30 off each. Have them on both guns, and they fit like gloves and work great. So, you can't go wrong with any version of this gun.

Thanks so much for the comparison on both pistols, I own the G2C, A great hand gun, no problems at all! May still purchase the G3C, for a back up gun! God Bless!
  • Both are amazing for the price. Not all of us care to impress our friends with a 2000 dollar name. I owned both at one time. Great edc , cc or bedside guns. I personally like the g2c for the loaded insicator

If I was low on cash, or looking for a first gun, I'd take either one of these. They feel great in hand and have nice trigger's.
  • Have the g2c in 9mm and 40 s&w, also the 709 and 740 slim , the last two are excellent pocket carry and back up, options , and all four are excellent CQB defense purposes, never had any problems with them, also own various other Taurus pistols and caliber options and revolvers a 4" 357 magnum and a 327 magnum, and 0 problems with them, Taurus pistols i own have been excellent 👍 also have a few Glock's ,10mm gen3/29 , and 357 SIG Gen 3/33 my primary EDC

Been a couple weeks since your last video on the state of the gun industry would love your insight on the ongoing shortages in 22lr, 223, 9mm, and now 45ACP ammo. Seeing more guns in my local shops and prices seemed to have peaked in my area, Kennesaw GA, but things like Glocks, Sigs, and Smith and Wesson M&Ps still are scarce. Even the used market is hot on those. Would like your insight on the recent reloading component shortages and delays as well.
