New mechanics in Rocket League are incredibly difficult to find since players have been pushing the game's limits since 2015. I asked some of the world's best freestylers to invent new mechanics and the results were amazing. The clips I got back were montage-worthy and I would have never expected so many submissions. the preflip flick is one of the most useful ones here. me and my buddies been calling it the afterflick since like 2018. just a flick that happens after your flip. we dumbed it down a lot back then lol im not sure if preflip was a term yet, but still cool to see it get highlighted.

i just found a clip i made once where i did a scoop flick during my speedflip practice but with a diagonal setup. but i forgot about it because i couldn't get it often enought to do it in game. the version with the frontflip so much easier, why didn't i think about that. thx for showing me how it's done a buff rock.
