  • It’s got to be beyond exhausting. Usually when a player gets rid of the ball you can relax a little, but with Steph, that’s when you have to be the most attentive

guarding steph has to be one of the most exhausting defensive assignments in the history of the game
  • This is how it felt as a Cavs fan for those four years. Every time him or Klay even touched the ball I panicked
  • Steph is the key to everything. The gravity he has opens up all the pass/drive lanes and makes Draymond and Klay so damn effective.
  • I like how almost every guest, there will always be a Steph Curry segment. And people say JJ hates Steph? Lol
  • @rsciero
Derek White seems like a genuine dude. Much Respect.

What makes guarding Steph extremely hard is because he's not the most intimidating physically that it gives you hope of stopping him but you just can't. He's in that MJ, KD, Kareem, Giannis, Shaq tier of unstoppable.

Bro told the Boston crowd "This is my house" in the 1st Quarter of Game 4 while being down 2-1... Yeah bro has the ULTIMATE confidence. Win or lose, shot made or missed. He is the ULTIMATE confidence and believes in himself. Steph just different
  • This is probably the first time in the NBA you have a highly accurate, high volume 3pt threat that runs like he has 4 lungs. I don't think any player pro or amateur ever had to chase such a threat for 30-40mins. To suddenly change your training just to chase this one player is unbelievable. You basically need to get a cornerback on him shadowing him all game. No nba player is really built like that.

What a great name for a curry documentary… “48 minutes of where is Steph”
  • I saw a stat one time that Steph averages running about 3 miles per game. That's absolutely insane💀
  • @Goatlii
it is 48 minutes of "where is Steph" because you need to be attentive on the offensive end, once they transition from D to O and Stephs open on a wing, at that point you gotta pray he misses. Steph is the most lethal offensive weapon the game has ever seen

Need to get Wiggins on the pod. Would love to hear from him
  • No matter is ever said about Steph, he will ALWAYS be underrated. It has been one of the greatest joys in my life watching him play this game ❤
  • @Bertone
Derrick White is such a great player for the Celtics.

White: “It’s 48 mins of “Where is Steph?”” JJ thinks to himself: “I gotta write that down. That’s good.”

This is why i dont understand the hate Steph gets. He really got NBA players, top defenders struggling to keep up with him or slow him down. Most of his bad games are just him being off, not always the defense. He needs more credit than he gets. He is a generational talent and we need to appreciate him while he's still in the league. It's not always about just winning, its entertainment as well and his style of play has been entertaining for years !
  • All these players should feel honored playing with such an exceptional player and how they can learn from him. Stephen Curry the Best !!
