I won an air fryer from a raffle at a local appliance store, but I happily gave it away last Christmas. Now I'm inspired to get one for myself after watching you make these recipes esp. the lemongrass/lemon chicken ones. Thank you! :)

FYI Don't use a can spray on the basket... The propellent damages the coating . Invest in a pump auto spray bottle and use your favorite high temp oil.... That you can spray into the basket .. You always want to oil things a small amount before putting them inside the basket. Its not a NO thing, its a WAY less oil thing. And yes turn/flip half way through. Keep checking to exactly like you did. I think Your instincts are spot on 😁 Im in no eay experienced by the way, im learning to, I've just watched so many videos so thought id share that info.

1)Don't use spray from can; it built up a film that will accumulate & its hard to wash off. 2)You can add to seasoning as you marinate it. 3)When you airfry, the oil will drip to the tray; I lay aluminium & a piece of kitchen towel, baking sheet. or cooking sheet. 4)I will put a stainless steel tray with a grill net so the oil will drip on to the tray for easy to clean. 5)Since 3) & 4) it is never a chore to clean up. 6)Chinese 5-spice roast meat is crunchy & not as oily + shorter time than in oven. 7)Roasted veg, is a breeze 8)Grilling salmon is moist & skin is crispy. Skin side down 1st. 9)Crispy chicken rice taste like claypot crispy rice if its your thing. 10)Toast bread straight from the freezer is a breeze too. 11)Korean skewer rice cake is easy too. 12)CJ Korean corndog is crispy, non-oily & oozing cheese 13)After trying various roti prata, chapati quarter, half & whole I prefer it in quarter. 14)Naan taste better even plain or with butter after it is cooked 15)Crispy kale, spinach, etc is do-able 16)Crispy prawn/fish crackers is easy 17)Crispy anchovies (ikan bilis), cashew, peanut, sesame, roasted garlic is all do-able. 18)Bacon is just right 19)Heating KFC chicken tasted like fresh just bought crispy chicken; leftover from the fridge tasted like you just bought it; 2 hours chicken turn soggy can be crispy again just heat it in an air fryer.

I got an air fryer for Christmas, and it took me about 2 weeks to actually try it for the first time… now I’m using for everything. But, I have found the meat hasn’t been as moist as slow-baking it in the oven, so I’m going to try your trick with the pork - slow cooking it for a length of time, then 10 mins of high heat for final crispiness. And I have to try your spring rolls😋. New things is all about experimenting! I love the easy clean up. Plus, we began a healthier lifestyle in 2023, so this is something to continue.

I’ve watched a bucket load of airfryer videos and this is seriously the best!! I was loving it but the cheeseburger spring rolls….EPIC!! I love our airfryer, we are on our second and when this one dies, I will be out the next day to buy our third 😊 I know lots of people have commented about this but I agree with them……don’t spray your airfryer inside, it leaves a sticky coating that you can’t remove. Spray your chicken or spring rolls instead, they come out looking browner and less floury. Do them when you have them on the tray and then put them in the airfryer!! Please keep on your airfryer journey and share with us 😊

Thanks Marion, for testing the are fryer. I would prefer using the air fryer to cut down on the fat and oil, It looked really good. I was like you I was pushing and shoving the basket in, haha I eventually got it. 😉 It saves a lot of work, with washing and cleaning up. I’m going to try your recipe.

Don't use the canned aerosol spray in your air fryer. Get a small glass spray bottle and put your oil of choice in there when air frying. It won't clog your air fryer, or turn toxic, and you will get better results. (Most air fryer manuals will tell you this.)
  • @FireTeamEnt
I love my air fryer, so I’m saving this forever!
  • @hankeriesydney
Absolutely love it and I just made air fryer crispy pork!!!
  • @spl.1524
Hi, love the recipes. I cook in the air fryer all the time. It is easier to put a little bit of oil on the chicken before you coat it with any other ingredient. It will keep it from sticking...instead of oil on the basket. I coat anything I cook and I don't use flour. The seasonings make things crispy. Just a suggestion. I always preheat air fryer.

All that futzing around in the 1st recipe drove me crazy😊

Air fryer...a must kitchen gadget for me. Really useful ❤
  • I don't have an air-fryer but I have my heart set on one, so I hope to be trying your recipes soon. Thank you I agree with you on oiling the basket...to prevent the meat sticking and easier clean up of the basket.

  • Just bought a air fryer. First test was spicy potato boats, and it went very well😊. Thanks for your inspiration from 🇩🇰👍

You can use foil, stainless steel, ceramic to cook in airfryer but glass will crack. Yes for glaze claypot plate & no to unglaze clay plate
  • @ditackett
Marion, I’m just a beginner on air frying also. I have the little black thing like u and I have a little mini convection oven looking one. So I can do bigger batches. On certain foods that I’ve made and it seems like they need a little more browning or not so dry, instead of spraying it with the can of the spray , I put the food in a bowl then pour a little oil on it and toss. Most of the food I do that to seems to be like seafood or Asian so I use Sesame oil. It makes a big difference
