I like how unapologetically happy Felix is throughout this song. He doesn't care one bit about curses or hurricanes as long as he gets to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loves.

Can we talk about Mirabel's uncle for a sec? He loves his wife so much and it's reflected in his singing. She talks about how her emotions ruined their wedding and he just said "it was a joyous day!" He's just so supportive, I love him

I like how Dolores doesn't say anything bad about Bruno, and actually does her best to impress that he was under a lot of pressure and didn't always understand his own visions. She's trying to do her best to get more of the family to feel sympathy for him so he can rejoin.

Im obsessed with Pepa’s facial expression when Felix says: “I’m sorry mi vida, go on.” Those two have insane chemestry.

There's a funny thing in the song, when Pepa sings that she get married on a rainy day, she says it like it's an horrible thing. In France (maybe in another countries too I don't know), we have a saying : "Mariage pluvieux, mariage heureux" which translates by "Rainy wedding, happy wedding", basically it means that if you can get through a hard weather for your wedding, you can go through anything with your loved one, and .. That's basically what happens to Pepa and Felix, they got married on a rainy day, and since then, their bond kept getting stronger and their love never failed !

You know it's a Lin Manuel Miranda song when a dozen different parts are sung in harmony and you try to do them all at once

Mirabel's face, clearly getting annoyed when hearing Isabella singing about her future perfect life, is a great touch. 2:06

The whole thing with Isabella (flower girl) singing in majors instead of minors and overly enunciating is a really excellent piece of character work by Miranda. She's the 'perfect' character, so it makes sense that she would sing her parts 'perfectly.'

Something that just occurred to me: the reason Luisa's door was flickering during the song was because of the disharmony in the family. Specifically, they're all dissing Bruno, but viewers know he never left their home. So he's listening to them sing about how awful he is, and since he's a prophet, I imagine he's doing his best to not let it get to him to hopefully keep the magic going just a bit longer. He knows the magic requires the family to be in harmony, so like everyone else he has to suppress his discontent and sadness in order to keep their powers functioning. Because he also knew that the moment of truth was fast approaching, so they had to hold on just a little longer.

Once I heard a theory that in Dolores´ part she actually tried to tell Mirabel she knew Bruno was still there because when all the others describe him they use past tense, but Dolores uses present tense which means that it still happens and when she says "do you understand?" she is asking Mirabel if she got that
