NOT MY VELMA

My god this took WAY longer than it should've. I think I hate lips now. I know the interest in dunking on 'Velma' has floated away a bit but OH WELL. I still wanted to draw my take on them! Of course with a bit of lore sprinkled on top just for youu~ Hope you all enjoy! ____________ Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers – The Keeper. An aspiring inventor that watched 'Ghost Busters' way too much as a kid. Created a way to 'keep' souls after the traumatic death of his dog. A terrifying opponent who is not above keeping your mother's soul for a week solely to make 'Yo mama' jokes. Daphne Blake - The Summoner. A young Necromancer that can summon compatible vessels for souls given to her by The Keeper, using her own bones as the catalyst. Takes 13 calcium tablets a day much to the displeasure of her local doctor. Fred Jones – The Trapper. Young Master to the infamous Jones Family. Inherited his father's passion for trapping with a tad too much fervour. Traps and binds souls to the vessels created by the Summoner in flesh and blood. Hate's changing his shirt. Velma Dinkley – The Harvester. An abomination that sucks the soul out of everything they touch.

I just noticed that the whole gang looks deathly pale and corpse like, but “Velma” looks normal. I like that story telling there, like something is keeping her young and vibrant but everyone else looks like they’re getting the life sucked out of them.

Velma being possessed makes way more sense than her being an abusive, sociopathic monster to begin with.

Seeing Velma crying with a smile , acting odd and that all she wrote was "That's not me" over and over make me thinks this might be a nod to the horror movie 'GET OUT' .

Things i noticed 1. Velma is the only one that starts looking at the camera. 2. Velma starts crying when they open the journal. Possibly meaning she wants help and is hoping that they could help. 3. The tears could be about how her friends care for her 4. She states she is vegan after the comment about the dog. Possibly meaning she ate the dog. 5. She doesn't blink 6. Everyone looks tierd while she looks awake and fine. To the point where she looks creepy

I love that each one of them has a piece of Scooby. Shaggy has his soul, Daphne has his skeleton, Freddy has his body, and Velma has.. the remains.

I never expected the phrase “Oh, definitely not, I’m vegan!” to be so scary given the context. I hope these characters make some more appearances in other videos of yours, as this was thrilling!

Shaggy talking about Scooby was very well done. It was like he was slowly spiraling into insanity just thinking about it

The whole idea of Velma not being normal was really nicely interpreted with her staring into the camera unlike the others who would look around.

I love how a 5 minute has more personality and writing than an entire show with budgeting

The part were shaggy was like “it doesn’t make sense he should still be there but there’s nothing” gave me straight up chills down my whole body

There was another animation which keeped the creepy atmosphere like this one, this time with scooby doo being a sentient monster, pretty freaky stuff. I love how the community has turned this shitshow of a TV show into the most anxiety inducing animations ever Edit: the animation I mentioned is called velma meets the original velma by avocado animations

"THAT'S NOT ME" over and over and over again... this hit me in the throat. imagine the sheer desperation of being possessed and the only thing you can do is write in a book while whatever possessed you is sleeping... filling the ENTIRE book top to bottom, front to back with the only thing you need people to know

The "serious adult animation" that we all actually wanted

"She offered which was already wierd because she's allergic to them, man" The way he delivered that line was heartbreaking

Not gonna lie, your versions of them look better than the original. Like, Velma for example, her design reminds me of a sweet little girl that won't harm a fly. Actually adorable.

I like how the message of Velma having killed Scooby Doo is both literal in their world and figurative in our world.

velma saying she's vegan in response to having a dog is funnier than all of the jokes in the show

Now THIS is horror. No jumpscares, emotions that feel real, characters that feel alive, it makes you sit on the edge of your seat and a plot that feels mysterious

Was not expecting to go there with Daphne accidentally mentioning her Mom's mental illnesses- and wow this concept is cool, Velma being possessed like this makes for such an interesting story.
