  • Had my first chemo treatment and wasn't prepared for what my body was about to go through. The day of treatment and the following four days I experienced a literal nightmare of side effects. I felt like I was being tortured, I had no escape from the nausea, intense pain, or complete confusion. I had never in my life felt anything like that. (I've had 2 births, kidney stones, gallstones, broken bones so I'm familiar with pain.) I wish that my medical team would have prepared me better as to what I was about to face. I'm sending out healing energy and love to all going through this. I hope for only the best for those fighting this battle.
  • I am 58 and I have never been ill. I blacked out driving home one evening. Once at the hospital I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I had the tumor removed with the best surgeon from Dana Farber and she removed it to perfection. That was nothing compared to the chemotherapy and radiation. I have never felt so poorly from anything than this. I am doing this with the hope of getting 3 to 5 years of life and to be there for loved ones.

Anyone who goes through Chemotherapy is one tough cookie! The first chemo was mentally shocking. On day three, I was curled up in a ball wondering if the treatment is worth it. I now have only two weeks left. I am counting down the days. Be proud. Hang in there. You CAN do this!!!!!
  • Hello all. I have had Radiation therapy before . 1 month 5 days a week. Its been a couple year and now I will be having Chemotherapy. A biopsy will be done again to see if its the same CA. Hodgkin's Lymphoma predominant Lymphocyte B or something more Aggressive. I have to say yes I am sad/ depressed and A bit scared. The video was and is very informative. I was told I wouldn’t feel ill after my first treatment. Wrong. I was in bed for 3 days. Ugh. I have 7 more chemo treatments and 25 radiation rounds. I foresee myself being the victor for I am a a warrior.

Me and my mom watched this she is currently undertaking chemotheraphy for her breast cancer. Thank you for this informative video.
  • Good information, I'm on chemotherapy treatment now, it's painful and there's nothing they can do, it wears off in time, it's all still a mystery and there's no cure for cancer, keep praying y'all 🙏💙
  • Radjation and chemo were the worst thing I ever experienced. But I am here. I was pre cold cap, so I am kind of bald. But it's been 9 years and I am still here!

If you have cancer you're not alone. There are many of us out there. Be strong because attitude is everything. The human immune system does not recognize cancer. This is why your body manufactures white blood cells and killer T-cells. Killer T-cells kill cancer while white blood cells clean up the mess. NOTE: Its attitude that controls the manufacturing of T-cells and white blood cells. The more you laugh the more good cells you'll produce. So laugh every day, live in a state of thankfulness, and remember this, cancer loves sugar and hates oxygen. Just a few things we all can do to help with our doctors' treatments. P*E*A*C*E

3rd day after my first treatment. I am feeling it. Though thankful I watched this. I am 40, no kids and off work now paid. Makes my fatigue seem nothing in the eyes of a mother with children and laundry to do.

Thanks for making this video, wondering if you have a video specifically on the 2 chemo meds I will be taking: Taxol and carboplatin once a week together with radiotherapy 5 times a week. Cheers.
