We had a blast making this! The reception to part I was amazing and so we knew we had to go even BIGGER for part 2! If this video gets 10,000 likes we will do a whole video on the USA's involvement in the regime changes of foreign countries! We need to teach middle school children to spot advertising ploys and propaganda.

The more one learns from these historical projects like yours, the more one has to wonder if there was ever a period where governments were not manipulating citizens on behalf of corporate, ideological, and foreign interests

I realised in my first year as a psychology student that behavioural psychology was the dominant stream. All the experiments were aimed at changing and controlling behaviour of people. The field is the most well funded branch of research.

And these dirty tactics still go on.

When America lies to its people, and when its people follow like sheep without question.

This is why we need to know our history, & our constitution.

...and the press wonders why the public doesn't trust them anymore.

I knew Bernays was bad, but didn't realize how long and sordid a career he had. Good work.

I like that this is common knowledge now. I remember times (few years ago) when saying this would brand you a tinfoilhat... "If you are right 1 day before everybody than for 1 day longer youre considered crazy"

    I don't think I've heard a politician state a straight-up fact my whole life.

May 11, 1960 - Eisenhower's address regarding the U-2 incident. He directly told the public that it is necessary for the US government to lie to the people. That was a major event that gets lost too often.

Let's all pause at 16:10 and take a moment to appreciate the logo of "Bananas United" - The dystopian Banana corporation that stole all private land from each and every citizen, ran an entire country through a puppet government, and more or less enslaved an entire population... Their logo is literally a smoking gun, WOW!!! 🤣 Their logo was essentially a threat 🤣🤣💀 How is this not taught in school? This is absolutely in

All one needs to unleash a dystopian world is to have control over both money and law.
  • OH....this is why "big brother" treats people like little children. The main "line" seems to be: tell a lie, keep repeating that lie, the lie becomes the (percieved) "truth" to the masses..........

Excellent video. As an 80-year-old man I experienced the events after 1950 and I am well read enough to confirm events back to 1900 in Central America. I bought the red scare 100%. This video confirms I and most of my fellow Americans were 100% duped, but I suppose there's a small chance this video was sponsored by communists.😂

When he asked if we thought our government ever lied to us I thought the question should have been do we think our government ever told us the truth, the answer is NO.
