  • I love how Open AI forced all these big companies to catch up with the AI race šŸ˜‚
  • @jquest99
Definitely shows what competition can do. And not just OpenAI which is no longer open, there is SO much more pressure coming from open source
  • @techwhisper
Thanks to openAI, all big companies had to start revealing their techšŸ˜Š
  • Companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft seem to be introducing similar tech, just different branding. It seems this will be the likely nature of tech business for a while now. This means extreme levels of competitiveness and an even greater focus on profitability given the hyper competitive scenario. Meanwhile this will give some much needed time for developers to research and innovate on the next phase of AI evolution (after LLM)
  • If it wasn't for chatGPT/AI buzz, Google would have released these features in a piecemeal fashion showing progress just like any other company. However, now they are forced to go all out to save face.

Really incredible stuff here. Huge time savers, as well as inspiration and ideas galore. I wonder when the 'made by AI' stamp will be a universal logo required for all creations. :)
  • So sick of these big companies talk about responsibility when they do whatever the hell they want to do in the end
  • @BeachBumZero
I love how they give an example of the system recommending an 18 year old go to school for animation so they can graduate and not find a single job for a human animator lol
  • I would love to see these updates roll out soon, especially the one with the workspace and bard, gonna get a job for sure šŸ˜…

Personally I like ChatGPT, he helps me to study, he is not less than a teacher. Teachers sometimes get angry with over questioning but he is not

I think what's important here is the AI ecosystem that Google is creating. A lot of these things could go away in a year or two, based on Google's track record for products like this. But this ecosystem will help drive more and more innovations that are more likely to use Google as the foundation.

The first AI that was available to anyone was in 2005. And it was owned by Sony Erricsson, on a phone model. It recognized any sound and song, and told you who is singing, the name of the song or sound and the place where it can be downloaded.

Thanks for the Vid Alex. Nice to have guys like yourself bringing this stuff for our scrutiny.
  • In my opinion Google thinks more in the users and Microsoft for the developers.
  • @techbiz7
Good job guys.. keep up the competition healthily šŸ‘
  • @24trick
Google has been the creative top-notch technology company that has made things easier for upcoming technologies

27:40 that is concerning when Google has to limit the accessibility to products/services? Who decides, and how decide, the qualification criteria and selected partners?
