Next video idea? Biggest military blunders. Would love to hear your narrator say, “if you think tourist postcards qualify for military intelligence, then Dieppe was the clusterfuck for you!”

Fun fact about the batbomb: During its creation, the bats got accidently realesed and burned down an airhangar and a generals car in a US base in New mexico
  • @athinghere
"when will you surrender" "when pigs can fly" makes pigs fly
  • @maxbennett5412
The pigeon bomb used 3 pigeons, not one, and they also tried it with cats under the idea that the cats wouldn't want to hit the water but as it turns out cats are not as skilled at flying as pigeons. If nothing else the bomb was very accurate.

Rule of thumb: If your new weapon is based on training animals to operating it, it will fail 100% at a time and is more likely to kill you instead.
  • The funniest thing. All were seriously considered by brilliant minds, and many were made. A nuclear mortar with a two-kilometer range, great idea. Purple Hearts aren't awarded for radiation sickness.

Okay "Gay Bomb" had me rolling on the floor laughing almost dying 😂🤣(also nice visual animation for the intro of it) 😂

The cannon on the Vespa was a Recoilless Cannon, the the recoil would be mitigated.
  • “Huh. Let’s destroy everything in a mile radius or so. But how small can we make it?” And thus, the Davy Crocket mortar was born.

6:21 “I DONT WANT THEM PUTTING CHEMICALS IN THE WATER THAT TURN THE FRIGGING FROGS GAY”

1:03 To further add on to the information shown in the video, the Davy Crockett was made during a short period in history where nuclear weapons were expected to become just another part of conventional warfare. Interesting concepts like The Pentomic Army which was a division of the Army that was designed for conflict in irradiated nuclear environments also came from this era.
  • This vid would've been 5 hours long if they brought up all the technicals the Arabs are making in the Syria and The Middle East
  • @WPIALInsider
Your precision use of the word "Fucking" is Oscar worthy. "Because they were on fucking fire", "You can't just show us a moped with a fucking Naval gun slapped to it" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Also the incendiary pigs were most commonly used to scare war elephants since once they were spooked they would often turn and stampede through their own ranks causing massive amounts of casualties and crippling morale. Pretty cool since the scent of elephants would spook Roman cavalry units horses so they lit pigs on fire to scare the elephants hahaha
