Today I'm talking about my go to chain saws. I explain why McCulloch chain saws are my number one choice.

  • Nothing today comes close to the quality they were putting out 40-50 years ago. Nice collection of power saws.

“Your a weenie and need to toughen up”🤣🤣🤣 I love this statement because so many people are soft now a days 😂

I agree with you, nothing like the old saws. Still working on my collection. The Montgomery ward is unusual, would like to find one.
  • I have a pro-Mac 10-10 that I bought new. Still love it. It’s a great saw

What is the brand of Oil you mixing the gas? Also what kind of oil do you use for the chain? Love your channel and I like your attitude. Old age commonsense tenacity and simplicity our qualities lacking in the world today!Kiss Says it all.

Great vid on the old Macs. I just picked up a 650, with no decomp valve. I thought all 650's came with one, which had me wondering if the saw had been rebuilt. I noticed that your 650 doesn't have a decomp valve either. Do you have any insight on the issue?
  • I've just bought a 3.7 eager beaver. I'm having a hard time tuning it. Do you have any tips you could send my way. It runs great, but when I put it in wood, it doesn't have a lot of power. Also, we're do order your carburetors and kits for mcculloch? Thanks in advance, Michael

I don’t know how you can saw that new saws are unreliable. My saws, are mostly new, and they start up every time I try to brand them. I do maintain my saws at a level exceeding most users but that is the only difference. I have two saws situated by the back door should I need them. Right now, I have my 372 husky and ms 440 by the back door. I rotate my saws to this position during the year. If I need a smaller saw I have my ms 241 and MAC 32-16 ready to go in the shop. To get in the house a saw must not only be reliable but it must not slobber gas or bar oil on the floor, otherwise my wife will raise hell at me.

I have a bunch of old McCulloch saws but why is it that you don’t recommend full synthetic oil?
