Fun fact: People always call Sonic.EXE a “Walking Simulator”, but in the very first version of the game remake, you literally could only move right (you could go left sometimes , but only sometimes . But you can never jump)

Fun fact: Aladdin EXE did actually get a sequel in the form of "A whole new world EXE" Which like the toy story exe sequels included multiple endings, multiple paths and boss fights. It's not as fleshed out as the toy story exe sequels but it's still really cool and it's even connected to the lore of toy story exe and a couple of the other games in oldum's "EXE Saga" series by technically being the first appearence of the overarching villain/demonic entity of the series, Respiro.

It always amuses me how horror spongebob games will use that specific patrick scream trying to be spooky, even tho no one who's actually watched that episode can ever hear it without laughing.

That Toy Story.exe remake looks cheesy but also cool as hell.

There's also Rouge.exe, which was a good clone until the end. It just starts with Rouge appearing in the title screen 3 times before you enter a level. When you're in "Not Perfect(Amy's level)". It's the same level with the lone giant gray ring(except there's no Sonic), when you touch it, Amy appears and the game gets into an error screen saying that it couldn't spawn Amy Rose. Then you're in "Kind and Fair(Cream's level)", it's the same level but it lacks the speed monitors. When you touch the spikes, Cream appears the game gets into an error again saying that it couldn't spawn Cream The Rabbit. Then you're in "Act 9(Sally's level)", while the walls are in the middle of closing Sally appears with yet again another error screen saying that it couldn't spawn Sally Acorn. Then you continue with Sally's level, and the walls have stopped halfway for some reason, after done waiting Sonic appears and kills Rouge. After that, you play as Shadow The Hedgehog, and you're in a blood soaked version of Green Hill Zone, after reaching the end Shadow meets Rouge, only for Rouge to pull out a Glock and shoot Shadow. Then the screen remains black with white text showing a conversation between Sonic and Rouge, discussing their plans, until Sonic mentions how there's someone(or something) who is just as strong as him, and that thing is a virus, the screen gets a static, and then it's a screen of Jigsaw from the Saw movies, this part is where it ruins the game. Jigsaw tells you that he'll start deleting files from your computer, unless you pay him with Bitcoin, then the game reveals that the saw trap is fake.

I remember being terrified of Sonic.EXE as a kid, thinking he was real. I still enjoy playing the fan games, they sometimes get really good and terrifying like Sonic.EYX. Also Sunky.mpeg is the best EXE game.

I remember, when the original game was still fresh, there were two sonic.exe games, that I genuinely liked. One of them looked like a remake of the original Sonic.EXE,but In fact, had 3 times more gameplay and its own story. You could beat it as usual, or you could actually save Tails. As soon as you do that, the game's story changes from the original, 4rth wall breaking cursed game story to a... Sort of prequel. Where an actual biblical demon has possessed an actual Sonic and now the game cast is trying to survive and fight back. The game features multiple routes and numerous endings of all sorts and flavors. Starting with cartoonish happy ending exorcism, when they're banishin the demon and ending with a Grimm, a bit edgy one, where one of the members manages to kill the possessed hedgehog and escape. It was a neat game. Not the game of the year, but you could see the effort somebody put in it. Another one was with similar idea In mind, but of lower quality and made on rpg maker. It had an interesting idea, where after you save all characters, you unlock additional chapter, where you play as Sonic. In this chapter, it's told that EXEcutor wasn't just a lone demon, but a participant of an outworld invasion. So now he failed his task and is considered to be a renegade. During this chapter you need to catch the survivors in order to please your superiors, or join the defenders to avoid your punishment. Again, not a mind blowing story, but I could see some kid having lots of fun with creating it. That's cute and I wish any of those games would get a bit more recognition.
