I'm Absolutely a huge fan of the Scarlet Witch i hope that Marvel Studios gives Scarlet Witch a Trilogy soon

My canon for Wanda as to why she is so powerful is because she is not only go which decent but also a mutant!! Her mutant power was always probablility manipulation and chaos magic is her birthright making her so powerful!!! I WISH SHE WAS A MUTANT AGAIN BUT KEEPS HET WITCH LINEAGE AS WELL!!!!

Prefer the original story of Magneto being their dad and Agatha Harkness being her mentor to embellish her ‘Hex’ mutant abilities. I don’t see why anything had to be reworked and made complicated. It’s not as if the reworked storyline can translate to a credible movie anyway. For decades, she was Magnetos daughter in the MCU.

I think the whole reason wandas backstory is sooo confusing is because people don't know who she really is.. let's take a moment to look at the elements of Wanda as "the scarlet witch".. magic can be broken down into colors.. she's scarlet for a reason.. look at real witchcraft what does scarlet represent.? The scarlet aura represents an unnatural love affair.. hence Wanda and vision.. Wanda and her brother.. Wanda and her father.. her true father.. Wanda is a witch.. her mother was a witch.. and so on.. the scarlet witch is supposed to be the ultimate sacrifice.. you know when the true scarlet witch is present because she cannot be killed.. the reason is she is one of the norn.. aka fates.. like morgan le fay whom is the one who knowingly trapped chthon in wundagore mountain.. morgan is the mother goddess.. she is a chthonic deity.. one of the 3 fates.. morgan.. Wanda and agatha.. Wanda is a baby witch.. hence the whole maiden mother crone thing...when the norn die they are reborn.. as the scarlet witch.. mephisto.. is also merlin.. who is also morgans true father.. as morgan was once the true scarlet witch.. she was supposed to be sacrificed before the fall of Atlantis.. but being the true scarlet witch she was spared the cataclysm.. so many baby witches were sacrificed as potential scarlet witches.. but in earth's history Wanda morgan and Agatha were the only true witches...the norn or fates are the guardians of the tree of life yggdrasil.. hence the sigil in Wandavision of Wundagore mountain which had 3 peaks representing the 3 norn.. as this is the roots of the tree of life where all magic aka mana comes from.. hence why morgan was able to contain chthon in wundagorr mountain in the first place.. morgan in fact created the darkhold.. the darkhold in fact is a spell.. an enchantment.. she gathered all of chthons tomes and bound them with iron.. she needed the other "darkholders" to be able to do things she can't do.. like bind the tomes into one with iron.. hence the iron bound tomes/books.. not just the darkhold but other ridiculously powerful magical books as iron binds magic.. rust more so...rusty iron is best to destroy magic.. that was the point of Dr doom.. he was supposed to be the marriage of science and magic.. hence technology and magic.. hence vibranium is supposed to be the opposite of iron.. it magnifies magic.. anywho.. Wanda is nearly immortal.. just like morgan and Agatha.. right now morgan is the mother of all witches...that includes Wanda.. all witches are under morgan until its wandas time to rise.. that's her true story arch.. being above the gods who controls even their fates.. morgan knew Wanda was going go be born.. before morgan knew who she herself was truly she was fucked with by merlin aka mephisto.. she would dream of the reality of things including the second cataclysm.. hence why she orchestrated the whole wundagore meetings.. think about it. The Morrigan shows up as a cow to trick cuchulain.. bova.?. The crows the ravens...think.. morgan le fay is actually omniscient.. she has many avatars and animus.. she is the mother goddess danu.. Wanda is her baby witch.. actually Dr doom is her true fathet...morgan and Dr doom have been doing what Nathaniel Essex aka Mr sinister has been doing for ages.. evolving humans.. morgan did it with the intention of creating a protection for earth against all entities.. magical.. celestial.. interdimensional.. she needs to be the most powerful being in existence when reborn to maintain the status of fate.. without them there would be no death.. no chaos no order.. no darkness no light.. in the biblical sense.. Wanda is lady babylon.. riding the lion drunk on the blood of the saints.. and her lover is vision.. aka the vision of John the baptist.. morgan was supposed to save all of reality collapsing by orchestrating the future from the past..she was aware of the incoming collapse of the multiverse that's the only reason the Phoenix was coming trough in the first place.. as a multiversal entity the phoenix.. it only makes sense for an appearance before the collapse of the multiverse.. Wanda wasn't blessed by chthon she was infused with chthons mana via morgan le fays instruction.. as well as mephisto.. morgan wasn't just banging it out with Dr doom.. aka Victor who's mother was also a scarlet witch.. but not the true one.. which is why Victor and morgan even interacted in the first place.. to orchestrate the second coming of christ essentially.. the norn feed off chthonic energy as long as the darkhold exists.. and as long as it exists chthon is bound by morgans mana.. they confuse wandas parentage to keep her safe.. if no one knows her true parentage or backstory no Uber magical or powerful entity could sacrifice her and essentially become a triple god.. the fate.. aka the living tribunal essentially.. or whatever.. the whole point is balance.. hence fate=order.. destiny is chaos..=chthon.. hence why the fates were weavers like a Celtic knot the tree of life is taking chaos and making it orderly.. it's just no one can see the threads of fate but the fates themselves..

She is "weaker" in the MCU than she is in the comics, but so is like literally everybody else to some degree. The power scaling is just inferior in general in the MCU. If you compare the "place" the Scarlet Witch occupies in both adaptations, it's honestly about the same (aka very high in their respective adaptation). Either way, she's always been one of the most interesting characters in the franchise. Elizabeth Olsen has done a very job portraying her in the MCU too.

Awesome video, Wanda Maximoff is one of the most powerful female characters in Marvel comics, and also in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is basically my main favorite one inside the MCU, but in the comics she is one of my favorite ones. Also Wanda's anatomy completely changed when she became a user of the Chaos Magic, this is because when she became the Scarlet Witch her entire being was modified inside and she became a magical being.

I love how you displayed her history, but I wish you'd have added more about what happens when Billy and Tommy get resurrected because I think that's a really interesting timeline. Now I kind of want the Marvel movies to showcase her Romani ancestry more, rather than the storyline that she got, because that was really interesting, and there's a lot of good representation that they could do with her character.

Because Marvel didn't have the rights to "mutants" when they introduced Wanda and Pietro in Age of Ultron, they did something really wild with her origin. She was born a natural witch foretold in the prophecy of Chthon, but was also chosen by the Mindstone for its own inscrutable reasons. Wanda Maximoff in the MCU is the chosen avatar or consort of two god-like entities, one that predates our universe that arguably could have orchestrated everything in the Infinity Saga in order to merge with Wanda, and the other an evil elder god upon whose altar she sacrificed herself at the end of MOM. (That was an altar in that temple, y'all, not a "throne," as she called it.) Her last act of destroying every universe's Darkhold showed immense multiversal powers, didn't it? Wong : "The Scarlet Witch is a being of unfathomable magic. She can re-write Reality as she chooses and is prophesied to either rule or annihilate the cosmos." Dr, Strange: "She took over a whole town using her mind. If she gets America's power... she could enslave the entire Multiverse." I think that's a bit stronger than the comics version, right?
