People date who they're in proximity to. A lot of D1 athletes play at predominantly white colleges and universities, so their dating pool and dating options are predominantly white as well.

I really do not understand why this constantly needs to be discussed. They can date who ever they want. They definately will not be mourned. Men that have that mindset are not the caliber of man that a true woman would desire. A real woman wouldnt give them the time a day. Most of them dont know the difference.
