Colin Kaepernick didn't take a settlement, he won his grievance. If my job wrongfully stops my money my union files a grievance, if I win I'm paid. That's why Kaepernick still hoped to play. He didn't sell out he won his grievance

D L Hughley’s commentary is always nothing less than stellar. His awareness is unprecedented.

"The only time they are listening to us is if we are singing, dancing, jumping , or running." - DL Hughley Rise up! break the status quo
-
All Colin did was accept the earnings that were previously denied to him. On the other hand I think JayZ doesn’t mind being used as long as he profit$
-
If I can own a black man I can rent one, very powerful DL. The NFL cares as much about social justice as much as Trump caring about A$AP Rocky, wow.
-
In other words...jay z has no power over the NFL. He was hired to keep the players from kneeling, and his reward was 5% ownership of a team. Got it.
-
D.L. you tucking your tail on this one. You know this was a weak ass move by Jayz. Stop skipping and hopping around the issue.
-
So use Jay-z as a means to do that and Jay z signs up for it and you don’t find ANY reason to question his motives?! 🤔
-
The NFL is losing money, the NFL made 14 billion in 2016 last year 8 billion the boycott has an effect on the NFL bottom line
-
They say if you don't stand for something you'll fall for any and everything. They say if you listen long enough you will discover the real truth. Listen closely folks and just watch.
-
So if Jay Z is telling folks that the NFL and RoC is working on change, and the NFL want our obedience and money... then what does that say about Jay Z? #boycottNFL #cancelstardom
-
THIS IS WAT I SAY💯IF ALL BLACK ATHLETES LEFT THERE WOULD BE NO FOOTBALL💁🏾♀️THERE WOULD BE NO BASKETBALL...END OF THE STORY!!!
-
I cancelled my NFL Sunday Ticket, after the way they treated Kaepernick and Reid. All blacks should cancel their Sunday Ticket and don’t go to games.
-
Everybody should Support HBCU sports this year!!
-
Jay-Z is now an overseer for the plantation that is the NFL. Hypocrisy at its finest.
-
@TV One, DL Hughley, very nice and well put, Jay Z still set us back with this one.
-
If you question the NFL then you gotta question Jay Z cause he's working with them
-
Despite the intention of the NFL owners, the way Jay Z went about it was poor. We all know what the owners of these teams are about, it's up to the black community to draw the line on what we view as acceptable.

Out of all of the commentary I have heard on this topic yours is the most comprehensive to me. Thank you DL...
