  • Drill a hole in the top if your 4x4 and add a solar light. It'll look like a lamp posy.

Do not use terra cotta pots for food unless you have checked to make sure they are food safe, ie. free of contaminants such as lead and heavy metals.

Burnt...🥰 I was camping with my daughter's family when my grandson was maybe three or so, and I was watching him watching the marshmallows toasting... his wasn't doing much and he saw his dad's catch fire and saw him pull it out...well, he looked at that flaming marshmallow and then back to his not flaming marshmallow and I could just see the wheels turning... then he quickly swung his over to toast on his dads. I was so wishing I had had my camcorder going. Yes, we had camcorders then..he is going to turn 30 this year so you know how long ago this was. Your talking about toasting marshmallows brought this precious memory back ... so thanks for the diy and thanks for the memories. 🥰 I hope you can 'see' this like I see in my mind.
  • All of these projects are really great...right up my alley! I made a turtle similar to this one years ago. I've also made the bread. These are my two favorite projects today because they're nostalgic for me! I was the coordinator of a before after school care program in an elementary school for ten years. We did tons of projects with clay pots including bird baths over those years. I still have my bird bath...love that E 6000...holds forever like concrete. The teachers called me the clay pot queen and made and laminated a tag for me in the shape of a clay pot. I still have it!🐢🍞
  • Yes!!!! Ours was called Spinakers. Loved the flower pot bread!!!
  • Shannon, you gave me a great idea to use the vertical post as a herd garden!
  • @dotgoodwin4312
They're all so adorable Shannon! U put so much time into your projects and explain everything so well to us! I really appreciate you!

I like your simple ideas, simply demonstrated. Yours actually work, unlike those slick mass-produced sites that get a zillion likes. So many of their ideas are fake or even dangerous, not to mention that they steal from the little folks trying to make some extra money on YT.

I just bought a terra cotta pot and saucer to go under it from Walmart. I got the 10" plain unpainted pot. It was $9.84 and the saucer was $7.98. I had a heart attack. I had a hobby of painting/designing terra cotta pots and using them for pretty plants. I would put them on my deck and give them to friends and family. Now that I'm disabled, I thought about picking the hobby up again and trying to sell them, but there's no way I'd make a profit. Things are absolutely out of control. Sorry for my rant. I just wanted everyone to know the prices of these pots. (I live in upstate South Carolina.) These are great ideas. Make sure you use a food safe pot for any food stuff you do. Thanks for sharing.

Love all of these ideas...especially love all the 3-tiered stacked flower pots and also the the pots on the saucer. Also love the luminary.

The closed hooks you used on the bird feeder are called carabiner😊 they were invented for mountain climbers over 100 years ago
