This model is only discounted on the U.S market and replace by the Corolla Cross. In the rest of the world there is already a new generation of the CH-R

The CHR has just been upgraded and definitely not replaced. I should know, I have just bought one. It’s a brand new model but still called a CHR. I owned the previous model CHR for two years.

Well done. I have a 2019 C-HR XLE "TRD" version I bought new and drove off the lot 5 years ago. It is my daily and I LOVE IT! It has given me zero problems. The fact it is a higher riding vehicle means when I go to my mom's house to help her out I can easily drive her around because she can has no problem getting in and out of the car. She is getting older and getting in and out of my Civic just does not work for her. I love the look of my C-HR and it handles great! I bought and installed the TRD Air Intake Kit to squeeze out even more horsepower from the engine along with another special mod I added to the engine and the TRD Lowering Springs make it handle even better and improve the overall stance and look of the car. I have not looked back since. Best of all, none of these mods void the warranty because most of them are genuine Toyota parts. My C-HR has plenty of get up and go when I am merging onto the freeway and it is really stable at triple digit speeds, just don't ask me how I know. I also fitted my C-HR with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I am not a fan of the new C-HR in Europe. In my opinion, the new car has lost the sportiness and low cost that made this car appeal to me. The chief engineer for the C-HR was a race car driver and he improved the performance of the car after testing it on the Nürburgring in Germany. I think all that was lost on the new car. Too bad they discontinued it here in the US because a GR version with that 300 horse power inline 3 from the GR Corolla and a 6 speed manual version would have been on fire and would have been a great addition to the GR line up of cars.

I want one as a daily but I’ve heard horrible things about the CVT going out at 80k. Wish they offered it in manual or a standard auto.

I have the Orange edition here in the UK, and they are heavily advertising the CHR.

We’re getting the next generation C-HR here in Australia, but, it’s going to be expensive. So, I’ll be holding onto my 2019, 6-speed manual a little longer. It’s a good car.
  • @Happy-Me.
The C-HR has not been discontinued! Where are you getting this information?
  • @marlyn91950
To me the car is just perfect for the California freeways as it is gas efficient, stylist, fast, and the price is right for my life style.

big mistake from Toyota, this was a best seller, the new one looks like a Bug, the older looked like a starship to me
  • @briannickson6631
The 2Litre makes 195hp and they do an all wheel drive. Check facts and specs.
  • @Badrattlesnake
C-hr still live strong and now under toyota management (not scion) it even has 4 wheels drive and IMT transmission.. I thinks toyota just punish Americans
  • The Corolla Cross is ugly as hell. The nice-looking C-HR will be missed.
