I would imagine that Gosling is pretty solid at driving given that he made a movie called, "Drive" lol. I do think that he trained a fair bit for that one

Stunt people are hidden in the shadows because hiding them adds to the movie magic, I guess. We know about them but we forget they exiet and that the characters are just actors, briefly.
