Metal detecting and exploring old colonial-era homesites is our metal detecting and colonial-era homesite adventure for this evening. Please join me as I explore an old farm and search for clues to where an old homesite was probably located. My first clue was the presence of oyster shells in a cleared area and upon closer examination pottery shards were also present. Time to metal detect!

That’s what I like about the AT Pro, I had a piece of copper and iron and a quarter in a hole and it was giving me that little squeak . Awesome finds thanks for sharing.

Happy Thanksgiving Beau. I carry a hard plastic trowel with me just so I don't have to use my hands to dig out the holes. I can hold a pile of dirt in it and put that in front of the search coil. Saves on the cut up fingers. 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
