When Debbie Crankin told her heart breaking story back in mid 2021, her TikTok audience poured their hearts out both emotionally and financially. Deborah Crankin would raise more than $350,000 US Dollars through GoFundMe after running the narrative that she was a "struggling black transgender woman". However, when the whole thing was exposed as fake, Debbie's world came crumbling down. This video will tell that story.

This is, The TikToker Who Scammed $358,000 With A Surgery Fundraiser.

This is why people need to stop blindly donating to every GoFundMe set up by a person with a sad story.

A man died because he didn't get enough donations to buy insulin for his diabetes. What a world that we live in. Edit: This is in america

I'm crying right now. I got a kid and a wife and I need work. All I want is someone to give me a chance even as dishwasher. Yet people like this that don't even struggle can scam half a million?

I know you probably won't see this, but they're back at it again and this time they're using cats with cancer to get donations. There must be at least 10+ "Save (cat name) from Cancer" etc. One petition has over 40k, others over 10k. I even got caught up in it myself and donated but luckily nowhere near as much as others who I have seen donating at least 100 a time.

The fact that she wasn't even appreciative of the anonymous people giving thousands of dollars (just under the amount the average American makes per month) and guilt trips them into donating more, even when she has multiple go-fund-me’s is just horrible.
  • @TrashComments
The fact that she not just scammed, but became disrespectful and rude to the people that were trying to help her is absolutely disgusting. Imagine having a whole community try to help you with your struggles just for you to turn your back on them, take their money, run away with it and pretend you’re victim…..
  • @grey-ip4sq
hey sunny, just letting you know that she has actually made several new scams that she is actively making tens of thousands of dollars from each. shes using each one to say that all these different cats have cancer and need a ton of money. the main one is macalauy the cat
  • Please make an update on this video with all of her new scams. She cannot keep getting away with this :/
  • @Sushiloverr666
When I was a teenager, My mom and I were homeless and couch surfing. We started up a gofundme, and got a grand total of $0. It’s sad how people will start social media platforms to scam money from people, while people who actually struggle get nothing
  • i feel awful for the one creator who was literally giving all the money she made from tiktok just to be guilt-tripped, berated, and called problematic by the person she was giving money to. disgusting. Edit: Hey guys, i get it she was problematic too. I didn't need 90+ replies telling me that :') I still think it's fucked up that the person receiving the donations didn't have an ounce of gratitude
  • please make a video on the cat accounts!! she’s getting even more money by claiming that her cats have cancer. it’s disgusting.
  • They have a new cat scam!! Asking for donations in the name of her sick cats who have cancer. It’s sickening. Abusing people who have a good heart and feel sorry for her animals. Her new account is Macaulay the Cat
  • @jjohnsonnccc
I’ve seen small streamers on Twitch almost break down in tears over a $50 dollar donation, and a lot of people who only get 5-10 viewers per stream will explode with joy over a $5 dollar donation. How ungrateful do you have to be to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars and complain about your lack of support?
  • @missabbyaddy
this is disgusting. even if it wasn't a scam, raising over 350,000 dollars and being so ungrateful is just gross (if ur already a transphobe im not gonna change ur mind but pls don't bring ur opinions here like anyone is gonna care)
  • @michelle.b9224
PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO ABOUT THE CAT SCAM!!! Crazy how shameless some people can be....Macaulay, Alex, Kelvin, Timothee, Chester, apparently they all have cancer... Debbie blocked me almost right after I interacted with an ig account that's been exposing her. Outragous... I used to follow Macaulay and boost the videos as much as I can too, glad I didn't have the chance to donate.
  • @FunFacts1212
Fun fact, whenever I feel useless, ungrateful, and unloved, I watch these videos and I feel better about myself knowing I could be much worse
  • So, no one asked any questions until $350,000 had been donated? It's hard to even laugh.
  • She's actually transitioning from "poor person" to "rich person." We just mistakenly thought it was a gender transition she was referring to. It's our fault, everyone. Let's go support her!
  • @PJ_Playz
I have mental illness too and was put off work but I refuse to be a leech to others. People like this need to be charged because this is a scam. What do we do with scammers that are caught? They are charged.
