"The off-road Viper is on the road": mission failed successfully.
  • @hoffmanbike
now you've achieved the plateau section of the project timeline
  • you were parked on the wrong side of the road, and the cop pulled up, talked to you for 10 minutes about how cool it was, and that he was subscribed to you and then fucked off.. Chill as shit cop, knows whats up, love him.

Quite a few years ago, I used a coat hanger to hold up one of my exhaust pipes, just "to get it home", and it worked so well that I never actually "fixed" it. Nothing is as permanent as a temporary fix. Love the car!

You know what this means: The project is basically done, and it is time for another big one
  • @GrandPotatoe
I never thought we'd see the day a project is more than 75% finished.
  • The "complete disregard for these people" got me interested and made me respect this project immediately 😊
  • Matt, I'll have you know that when I stumbled across a dirt cheap Mercedes SL roadster, I immediately thought "offroadster" thanks to you. Now I have a ridiculous off road Mercedes roadster. So thanks for that.

Only you could get stopped by a subscriber... 🤣😂🤣
  • @J.C...
😂 The cop being a subscriber is HILARIOUS 😂

Usually not a fan of this generation Viper, but man does it look cool! It really wakes up the inner child
  • @gglasser8375
I'm surprised to see people hating on this build. As a gen 1 Viper owner, I love this build, even though I winced every time you cut into it. And did you effectively destroy a rare car? Kinda, but it's awesome as hell. You can love Vipers, and love this build.
  • @darkally1235
I applaud your restraint of not immediately heading out and doing some off roading.
  • @builtbybasil8515
The build is looking so cool and I am glad you are happy with the shift knob!
  • @jimmywaun8864
Iconic. I cant wait for the actual hotwheels car that they are going to have to manufacture now. Good job Matt!!
  • This is looking so good Matt!! Cannot wait to see this thing finished and off-road, it looks freaking awesome!!
  • @Mastermind12358
People will say you've ruined the viper, but I feel like this is exactly what they made the viper for.
  • @Majima_Nowhere
The essence of hot rodding is taking a car you like and making it into a rediculous over-the-top neverending project that only a mother could love.
  • @notahipster4973
The smile on matts face in this video makes all the build worth it.
  • @brianhalberg131
Matt, well done on very nearly completing the Viper! You are an inspiration to "project procrastinators" everyw....(I'll finish this comment later)
