"Any advice?" "Don't challenge anybody thats really tall" Challenges 6'8" semi-pro

It’s funny how every time he meets someone the person acts like he’s just a normal guy even though he has an entire vr machine on him
  • This guy is awkard, nice, simple, confident at the same time without being hesitant.💀

This is really fascinating. How it impacts the psyche and the sense of self. I'm sure it feels like he is detached from himself and the existential ramifications of that are so interesting. I love how he described his lack of being self conscious. Seriously, this gets me thinking.
  • “Don’t play against anyone tall” Plays against future nba athlete
  • @MCMotivation.
To be honest the NPCs were very understanding, this is how I imagine NPCs reacting to players.
  • I've honestly been so curious what it would be like seeing my own life through 3rd person, and this man out here actually doing it in public. Incredible, gotta love the dedication.
  • When you think about it really hard and squint your eyes, he sees himself from more of a 2nd person view

"Don't play against someone too tall." Finds the only 6'8" person for miles.
  • @redzred4087
This is cool because it tricks the brain into thinking like your eyes are literally outside your body which is why he said he was more confident to talking to others

I think the problem here is that the camera is directly behind you... in most games the third person camera can freely orbit the player, and there are often two over-the-shoulder view options... at least one of these would make this immensely easier... I'd go for over the shoulder since it's easier to achieve, you'd just put one camera behind each shoulder and have a little button to switch the feed...

Ryan in 3rd Person: “I can’t see my mouth” Ryan in 1st Person: Also can’t see his own mouth
  • How is everyone so totally okay with this clearly insane man walking up to them in a lunatic contraption? Everyone's so calm and nice!
  • The fact it rid him of anxiety is hilarious, because I know for a fact it’d do the same thing to me. I’d straight up feel like I’m actually not there
  • @TheShizzo
The amount of social confidence you have is amazing. Hoping I too can learn to be that comfortable someday.
  • @NonExisting269
“Make sure they aren’t too tall” Him: ok Also him picks a 6ft 8 guy
  • @lilawa
Ryan: “Really, I thought we were like face to face” The guy: “we’re not making out” Ryan: “Alright... not yet nah just kiddin” 💀
  • @GodlyNeel
The part where the basketball hit Ryan's face had me cracking up! Keep it up Ryan!
