It’s surprising how many people need to hear, “If don’t want someone to do something, don’t encourage them to do it.”

These are great loving owners, open to learning, and accepting change. Raven is a very smart girl. Yay Victoria!

“I stare her down till she looks away”😂😂😂 they are hilarious and she is the cutest puppy
  • Yesterday I saw a short of a guy who literally pinned his dog and bit it on the scruff. When I first heard about it, I thought it was a joke, but a trip to the comments told me people take it very seriously. They have to "dominate" their dog, like another dog would(?), so they're the "alpha" and the dog will always "respect them." Nonsensical. Each time I think the field of dog training is getting better, more people crawl out of the woodwork touting "dominance" training, with chains and shock collars, and use the bs pseudoscience of "evolutionary psychology" that people buy into so quickly - because if you don't know anything about dogs and behaviour and learning theories it seems to make sense. (And if you do know about that stuff you realise it doesn't) With some of these new "trainers" around, like the "dog father" or "dog daddy" or whatever they call themselves, I almost wish ceasar milan would come back. They have taken his ideaology, and similar ones, to the nth degree. It's a sad state of affairs truly.

Great couple who respected Victoria and their dog 🐕 improved 👏🏻

Raven needs some carrots to bite on since she's a puppy who's changing her teeth.

My dog is crate trained, but only goes in if she comes in from outside and its raining. I dont even gotta tell her, she just goes in. She's never bit anyone or chewed anything but her toys and i dont even need a leash when walking to keep her at my side. Its all from patience as a small puppy and knowing how to train

Children with a puppy, children who have ZERO clue of how you discipline and train a dog. Kudos for victoria for not disciplining the dog when she just came in.

I do believe that the dog was overly bitey, but all I saw was a dog that needs excercise and plenty of toys. This poor puppy was being punished for being a puppy. I don't like choke chains or kennel "training". When I had a dog he could go anywhere I did. Sometimes he did sometimes he didn't. But i never felt the need to lock him in a cell.

What those people did just shocks me that’s not how you teach dog not to bite
  • LUV U Victoria and you are my hero and unbelievable person and women 🫶🏻🩵💛💚
