Sometimes VLC player gives me problems when I try to play back my 10-bit H.265 video files. So instead I've been using MPV player, and so far it seems to be working really well!

When that happens to me I just run it through premiere pro and it's fine, but that cost money. There's other ways to do it like you suggested. good vid for people that don't know and are leaning

I saw your video two weeks ago about your issues editing. I left the same comment, but I wasnā€™t sure if you saw it. I use premier pro on a Ryzen 9 6900hs laptop. Iā€™m only 13 , but I know 15 seconds is stupid slow. I have a few half hour long 4K videos and they donā€™t sitter a bit. I do have a dedicated gpu (rx6800) if your pc does not have a gpu, that could be the problem. If you do, I would install the newest drivers you can and do a clean install to remove the old ones

It comes to drivers and video codec on your device actually. Also hardware too but unless you're using ancient machine that struggles to play 1080p h264 video format, can't really help you there.
