It lifted off from Vandenberg air force base, carrying the latest batch of satellites for Iridium Communications. The trail was widely seen throughout southern California and as far away as Phoenix, Arizona.  SpaceX has made four launches so far and expects to make several more by mid-2018

  • @Mark_Red
It's been 4 years since this happened, man It feels like yesterday!
  • @desmeisme
I remember when this happened but not knowing what was causing it to happen and being in complete shock, I didn’t know if we were being attacked or it was a black hole but I just remember looking around me and being like……. Well whatever happens, this is clearly not in my control so I went back inside after leaving the drive thru of a Taco Bell i worked at

"I'm guys this is the end... North Korea" 😂
  • @Michael-zn2jc
Floridians have different reactions because they’re not in North Korea’s range.
  • We saw that in Arizona aswell. It was awesome. We saw a Chunk fall off but was unable to get a picture of it falling. This was an amazing site.

  • @deviant_ghost
In the first video the guy was definitely low key freaking out lol. Well done keeping your composure, mate.
  • Does anyone else notice how the illusion in the sky likes like a rocket itself?
  • @devoid24
No rockets prior to spacex EVER displayed those kinds of things in the sky. Whats so different with this/these rockets, that you get these very visual effects in the sky?
  • @Damidas
Scraping against the firmament, making the water ripple
  • Love the "little mind" thoughts of what this was. I remember the launched missles from the early 80s from vandenberg air force base. Almost every other month they looked like this because they would launch on purpose to get this effect.

The last girl who said this is the end, North Korea was so hilarious idk why but I just love when people overreact too quickly.
