i felt bad for matt because honestly i really get him, from the moment he was being paranoid even before cooking and saying ‘i know you’re not gonna enjoy it’ to the way he kept repeating how bad/stupid he felt ( when i cook for other people im exactly like this and if anything goes slightly wrong i just cant stfu) i wanted to reassure him the whole time:((

This video reinforced Matt being one of my favorite people on this planet. As tough as it was to watch (I hate seeing a fellow human feel ashamed for an honest mistake), this was one of my favorite videos for that reason alone. "Even if you're on the most perfect path ever, if there's a giant boulder in the way, that's still the perfect path. You just have to push it out of the way". All it takes is the right words from the right person to completely shift your perspective on life. Matt is an absolute gem of a person.
