Structural retrofits like this can take a long time to complete, but give the building the structural integrity it needs to stand for decades to come. PSL, LVL, LSL structural material will be used to construct this 3-story home into someone's dream home.

Before saying anything about how I should have triple checked every which way before I cut that open.. Understand that looking back, I should have done it differently. It could have been marked out by electrician as well, I'll take fault and proudly show everyone here on YouTube to show you that mistakes happen. Remember the kitchen I built at 9' instead of 11'? Or the times I've cut expensive beams incorrectly? It happens!

Yeah those are a nice pry tool. A cheater bar is good to have handy with these. They are a tad short for deck boards with spiral nails thought. An extra foot and a half makes all the difference.

@5:40 when you lose your hearing, it's going to be too late. It'll take a while, so you won't worry about it, bu then there comes a time when it's too late. I wish I could got back in time and kick my stupid ass for not wearing hearing protection. I love your content, just looking out for your crew and you.
