Mk8 GTI Forge Bov Install!!

rarely comment on stuff but this popped up in my recommended and heard you say this was your first one of these and you wanna do more. So, I'm just commenting to say awesome job dude! Camera work has charm to it and I like how personable it feels. Something you could change on this video is making the audio recording of the actual BOV louder so it matches the level of the other audio in your video and then the only other thing is making sure you export at 1080p so that we can watch in HD! :) that's if your camera allows it. Otherwise, a solid first video my man. Keep it up. Subbed, cheers from Australia

Great vid man. You have clear instructions on how to install this. I personally don’t like the Forge BOV for the fact that it just doesn’t give the engine bay a clean look. It looks a bit over complicated with adding 3 extra hoses. And trust me, if you’re constantly taking your intake on and off to do things on the car, like I do, all that extra clutter from the hoses and solenoid will get annoying real fast. That’s my only gripe, but I think you did an excellent job on your video. Keep them coming.

Curious if you ever experienced a strange “pressurization” sound with yours. After the bov vents, and you shift into the next gear, it’s almost like it’s pressurizing to close. That’s the only way I can explain it. I’ve posted a short clip of it on my channel. If you have a moment, could you check it out and let me know what you think? I used this video and one that Paul with shopdap did to get my hoses routed and connected. But I swear something wrong with mine. Either bov is faulty or messed something up but no one can shed any light on the matter for me. It’s weird.

I'm actually thinking of buying a mk8 gti as well probably why I found your channel or maybe cause I have a subie as well. Wanted a GOLF R But if U can get some good power gains from the gti id get one

Hows the evo4 with new Garrett turbo been so far ? In South Africa we dont get a mk8Gti with new evo4 engine we get it with the old gen3 engine with IHI IS20 still😢 not sure if we will ever get the evo4 later on newer models

Bro you didn’t shorten the plastic on the harness. They send the wrong one and you have to modify it a little

How you add the red stripe on the headlight?

Is it the diverter valve or the other one? I kinda get confused about it because forge actually has 2 types of these.
