TGP Nepal (Online) | Capstone Presentation: The Green Justice Project

Published 2020-10-11
On The GREEN Program's Nepal (online) certificate course, "Ethics of Sustainable Development", student cohorts created and presented innovative solutions to progress sustainable development.

The Green Justice Project introduced a model that centers community engagement to prevent green gentrification//green stratification through governance (legitimacy) and using a framework of civic ecology, community engagement, and other best practices for the model. The target communities are majority BIPOC communities who are left out of major environmental initiatives. The context of the project resides around green and climate gentrification which heavily impact BIPOC communities.
