I grew up listening to the Beatles but as an adult I’m understanding them more and appreciate their music so much more. John and Paul were amazing writers
  • @SK-sm9mn
The video wrongly states that McCartney’s mother was never referenced in a Lennon-MCCartney composition. They are forgetting ‘Let it Be’.
  • @FraggleFoot
I’m confident only the two can truly discuss how close their friendship was. End of story.

No one has the authority to tell us the "truth" about their relationship. period. They are both amazing, without a doubt.
  • @phineas117
the comment "ok john, what comes next"....that hurt. Krist Novoselic is the same when speaking of Kurt Cobain.
  • If it wasn’t for John founding the group and Paul’s talent the Beatles would have never had happened .
  • @kevinbirge2130
They were at peace when John died. That’s a merciful thing for Paul.
  • I thought Let It Be referenced Paul's mother when he sang "When I find myself in times of trouble/Mother Mary comes to me". It came from a dream he had about his mother who was called Mary.

People will be listening to their music 100 years from now.

I miss being in a band, I never was in anything that had 0.01% of the potential to achieve anything that The Beatles have achieved, but man do the parts about the kind of relationships you can develop with your bandmates resonate with me. I was going to say that it's stronger than family except for a few details, but no....it is stronger than family...it's basically a family but you get to choose who's part of it.

"And when I find myself in times of troubles mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be...." – that line is about Pauls Mother, who's name was Mary. Apparently she had visited him in a dream.

Lennon and McCartney were the greatest song writing duo of the 20th century. Period.
  • @mariaclark6313
Always will love their talent. Including George & Ringo. Always❤
  • @wchambers3849
You needed all four to be The Beatles. Any other combo just wouldn't work!
  • @claborn79
Fights between two people who love each other are always the most vicious.
  • Just a correction. Brian wasn't their manager when they did their first 2 residencies of Hamburg. It was a gentleman by the name of Allan Williams.
  • @ritasnow8319
It captures imaginations because they met as kids. How often do we hear about bands forming in this way anymore? They have a history and ties together going back to their siblings, aunts, etc... You can't replicate that.
  • @speedomars
The Beatles GAVE ENOUGH....their music will stand. No need to rehash old wounds.
  • The Beatles were my parents genteration. Being born in 1971 Wings is part of my generation. I am bless to know both and best worlds.
