These are the videos that I look forward to. I have recently scaled down from full-time employment to part-time employment so that I can devote more time and energy to growing my business. I will never work full-time for someone else again. I never could stand working 8 + hours a day for any employer. My goal is to be 100% financially self-sufficient before the end of 2016.

I just started my own janitorial franchise but I currently work my full time job to pay the bills and for benefits until I build my business up.

"Corporate Plantation" I love it. That's exactly what it is.
  • God gave everyone a gift. You have something on the inside of you that you want to do so bad, you'll do it for free. That's your calling, that's your company. I worked for a company and while I was increasing their net worth, it was then I said, if I could do it for them, what can't I do it for myself... self employed. #stepOutOnFAITH

I work 10 to 12 hours a day...everyday.....and I hate it, but jobs are scarce in my area. I've watched a good number of these "quit your job" videos.....but money for rent, food, taking care of my daughter is not gonna fall out of the sky. Its not that I feel trapped... I am trapped.

I thought about it long and hard and decided to quit my job today after 8yrs. I feel so free and the stress of working at that job is gone. They've been pushing me and I tried to hold on until I found something else but This week was the final straw and I couldn't take it anymore. I needed this message, I'm thinking positive that things will work out. I need it to for my and my baby.

The Great Depression was considered one of the worst times in America's fiscal history. Unemployment hit a low at 33%. Currently, Black unemployment is at 51%. The 49% that are employed have to try their best to erase their ethnic identity, almost be apologetic for their presence and the skin they're in. Our children grow up in fatherless homes, lacking education of self and financial education. The self esteem of our young women has plummeted. Our icons prance around in thongs sending messages that our value is exclusively what's between our legs rather than what's between our ears. They are decietfully disguised as "feminists". But their lyrics are filled with Black woman put downs. Sometimes I wonder if their only sense of satisfaction comes from condescending the next woman. The misplaced rage leads women to tear each other down. Verbal brutality, because if one can tear another down then that's one less competitor in a race for the scarce and highly covetted Black man. Our men are in jail and the free ones have been so brainwashed that they're only attracted to women who look nothing like them. They make babies to not provide for and steal women's futures. Leaving our young queens unprotected. And creating a new generation of poverty. Then they wonder why we're angry. Our only attempt to escape poverty is to whore ourselves, raising kids by ourselves with no support. We drink and drug to escape our hopeless reality, while being bombarded with materialistic messages from the media. The black community is currently suffering the Great Depression and we're ignorantly hoping our historical oppressors will save us. Our leaders are failing us. They feel that empowering their people threatens their status. You are selling hope. To a generation of people who are so lost, so beaten down. You are serving as our dad, even if it's just online. Thank you Dr.Boyce Watkins and Mr.Dash. America needs more men like you. I'm definitely joining today.

I just quit my job to weeks ago. I have record studio eq, Fl studio for my Hip Hop music. Also have my workout equipment for MMA. I haven't been able to make music the way I use to though, and suffering from writers block. Caused by the stress of trying to fit in and work for these white people. I hate it and I'm tired of it.

I really needed to see this. I feel like a slave working for someone else's goals and I can't get mine in order. I have such a fear of quitting my job because I'm young and feel I don't have the qualifications to be seen valuable to a company. I'm still trying to build up the courage. It's getting harder and harder to stay at my job.

For those who want to leave, but apprehensive, if you have a skill make it work for you.
