I love how every time the media tries to ask him about his performance, he props up his team and says how great everyone else was. Class personified.
  • "I haven't played in six weeks but yeah, I think I can go in there and do something." What a humble guy.

The second act of Manning's career, from his release in Indianapolis to Super Bowl 50 is one of the most amazing stories in the history of sports.
  • I’ll never forget the chills I got when he came back on the field

"Fumbles the damn ball." LMAO Coach Logan made an appearance in the broadcast booth

That was one of the greatest moments in sports. One of the all time greats who is broken down gets one last chance and goes out on top.

you know why peyton manning is the greatest ever? he never brags or shows off he is there to help his team win even if it means he doesnt play he will still do what he can to win

Even watching this game on TV I could feel the electricity when Peyton jogged out there. Kub saw that the team needed a shake up and he knew that just putting Peyton on the field would elevate all of the players around him. Peyton’s leadership and professionalism won us that game and, I’m convinced, got us to the Super Bowl.

The drama of Peytons Mannings final season, the struggles, the benching, the climatic return and the Super Bowl victory - could and should be a feature length movie.

This is one of my very favorite Peyton Manning memories - rising from the athletic deathbed to lead his team to another come-from-behind victory, and get his team back just in time for one last post-season sweep before going out with another ring.

The moment was so storybook; one of the most emotional in NFL history. He seemed done, and for all the records and stats, he wasn't going to get another Super Bowl ring. The team starts falling apart despite the talent, despite the know-how. The legend has been out for over 6 games, so he should be rusty, right? Then he comes in. He still has the brain to keep the offense in good plays, to audible into blocking schemes and good routes that sustain drives that either end in points or at least flip the field so that monstrous defense can do it's job with fresh legs and aggression. That's why he was still better than any young gun with a cannon arm and no nerve damage. Peyton Manning's mind and ability to execute the vision in that mind were enough to win games. Everyone credits the defense for carrying him, but if it weren't for him, the Broncos limp in as a 5 seed and don't win the Super Bowl.

I remember watching this game.....aside from the SB win, nothing can beat watching Manning jog on to the field in that second half to take his final stretch of games.

Him coming back in gives me chills every time, thanks for everything Peyton.

I was at this game. Just seeing Peyton warming up woke that crowd up. And watching him jog out was a magical feeling. We miss him so much.

it was at this moment brock knew, he fucked up.

The dynamic of the game changed entirely, and to be honest, so did the Broncos' fate that season. This switch provided the ultimate spark, arguably as big as the switch from Orton to Tebow.
  • @dom12011
Brock wouldn't have beaten Pittsburg or NE . Good decision . For us to go back to Pm
  • @gaittr
God we were so lucky as Broncos fans to have Peyton Manning for those years.
