As a Max fan, I can say its 100% his fault. Had he waited to get past that turn without an incident like this, the win was bound to be his since the 5s track limit was going to apply for Norris.

Hulk in p6 is the most exciting thing to happen this year!
  • @jachoscz
safe to say, we have exciting season ahead of us. As a Lando fan im not even that mad but i m very excited for future races

Verstappen is 26, Norris is 24. Kinda mouthwatering to think that we might have 5-6 years in the future of these two doing crazy battles like they just did. As long as they don't get shit cars.

McLaren tyre deg was unbelievable. Even Oscar was 'running long' with no drop off.

The collision was Max fault. But Lando dive bomb twice without keeping it on track, Max had to make avoidance maneuvers. That is also why Lando got track limits. So Lando wasn’t not clean himself. The same Lando putting Max in the grass last week was for me also ok. Let them fight. It is was make F1 nice to look.

I loved the race, Carlos being anonymous then ending up on the Podium was the most Carlos thing to happen, Leclerc being unlucky and messing up in Quali was the most Leclerc thing to happen.

Did you notice that Max do this against every driver except Charles. He and Charles always had clean battles, except "just an inchident" one 😂😂
  • I would say Lando and Max did the same thing to push each other off track. It’s just when Max did that, it didn’t come off well. Few laps before, Lando did bad overtakes, I think it’s just Max trying to do him back.

Whoever is at fault, the way this race unfolded, not just at the front, tells us that there will be lot's of close racing in the coming races. That's what we want to see, not just one driver doing carrousel running in front.

Good analysis. I have no problem putting this one on Max, but some people lose all sense of perspective. F1 needs controversy. and some salt and pepper. It has always been that way and always will. On to the next race, looking forward to a warm reception of the British public for my man Max 😅

I don’t like to hate on Max, but the whole “nobody shall pass me ever” ending in crashes really makes him look like a “sore loser”
  • @Ben-tl5wm
Lando had plenty of room to avoid crash because off track there is not grass also Max didn't move over that much. Lando just didn't want to miss out on winning

The driver who surprised us the most today was Russell. Apart from risking the team result at the beginning, when he was battling with Hamilton, he drove so well that, in fact, we did not recognize his driving style. Congratulations to Russell on improving his driving style so much & winning the race.😊😊

This is what we want this is the nature of sports this is competition lines will be crossed people will get emotional but this exactly what F1 needs
  • Verstappen didn’t try to blame anyone else in the post race interview. But Red Bulls pit stop is to blame, plus they could’ve told Max Lando had a 5 sec penalty looming too. Max was sticking his elbows out too far and that because Red Bull screwed up his hard work and all he had was that 8 second lead too lean on after being put on scrubbed mediums and they screwed him. But Max didn’t put the blame on anyone else in the interview.

I think this was over the limit from the start. I'll be honest in saying while part of me thought Max and Lando had a chance of coming together, I never expected it to actually happen. I get that Max has a highly aggressive on the limit combat style, but when you start moving under braking, that's a whole different can of worms. Fantastic breakdown as always, man!

I taught that what Max did was normal, since he going to a sharp right turn, he gonna steer his car as left as it can be, especially his car is infront, not side by side. And not blaming Lando to try on the outside, but i think he should have expected that, and be prepare to steer more to his left since there still some room for him to go to. Also, he could have pass him with DRS, no need to take this kind of risk.
